I really don't know what to think about this book. When I started reading it I thought it would be full of super-cute, heart-warming short stories, but the truth is that some of those stories are weird as. The second story - All She Wants from Cecily Von Ziegesar - was already a big WTF, but it got even worse: In Vodka Veritas by Holly Black was a story about a circle of students and a teacher (!) poisoning people at a prom and gosh, I think that was a really bad story. There were quite a few of these, but the worst of them all (at least for me) was Primate the Prom by Libba Bray. It was basically a story about a guy dating a real gorilla and throughout reading, I couldn't get rid of the feeling that the author is making fun of homosexuals. It was just a mess, that whole story. But, hands down, there were also some really cute stories. My personal fav is Three Fates by Aimee Friendman because I really loved the plot twist and the writing and it left me 'awwwing' all the time. "Mom Called, she says you have to go to prom" by Adrienne Maria Vrettos was another one of my favorite stories because the main characters felt so real and as if they were part of a whole novel rather than a 15-pages stories. And to complete my top three stories, The Backup Date by Leslie Margolis was a pretty fun story as well. I mean - the main character's way of thinking made me smile and for some reason I really liked her brother. So yeah, as you can see, there were many ups and downs in this book. The overall rating would be 3/5, just because most of the stories were at least kind of cute. But it would've been better to cut the weird ones out.
