the time it took me to read this book is time I am never getting back

The book consists of many short chapters, each one disclosing a common thinking error. They are illustrated by well-chosen examples which make you understand that you, too, unconsciously apply these thought patterns. It was definitely interesting. But as the book is very problem-focussed, I don't think that it offers enough input to actively avoid these mistakes in the future. This is also due to the fact that I felt overwhelmed by the sheer mass of information - for me, it made it impossible to remember all the described errors and hence be able to recognize and avoid them from now on.

It’s a good book, but as others have said: it‘s a lot of information to take in. You‘re just slammed constantly by information, that there‘s no time to reflect and actually absorb anything. Chapters are also very short (each cognitive flaw is 4/5 pages) which means after 5 pages you move to a completely different topic and are then immediately bombarded with more information. This makes it hard for you to absorb the content and then recognise these flaws in the real world.
