Über Gaston Leroux

Gaston Leroux (1868-1927) war als Rechtsanwalt tätig, bevor er sich als politisch engagierter Journalist einen Namen machte. Dem deutschsprachigen Publikum ist er vor allem durch seinen 1910 erschienenen Roman "Das Phantom der Oper" bekannt geworden. Im selben Jahr publizierte er mit "La Reine du Sabbat" einen weiteren fantastischen Roman, der heute als sein "absolutes Meisterwerk" (Alain Fuzellier) gilt und nun erstmals in deutscher Übersetzung vorliegt.
