Beatrice Melodia Festa holds a PhD in Modern Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from the University of Verona, where she teaches English Language. Her research and specialization focuses on American literature, with interests that include American fiction in relation to technology and virtuality, contemporary African American literature, adaptation studies, disability and speculative narratives, narrative medicine, women’s writing, and urban studies. She serves on the editorial board of Iperstoria: Journal of American and English Studies.
