Dieses Buch hat mich komplett mitgenommen. Die Enemies-to-Lovers-Dynamik, das College-Setting und vor allem Augusts Obsession mit Sinclair sind einfach heftig. Er war nicht nur ein bisschen interessiert — er war WIRKLICH obsessed mit ihr, auf diese intensive, leicht toxische, aber super fesselnde Art. Das Drama, die Spannung und die Chemie machen es unmöglich aufzuhören zu lesen. Ja, manches ist vorhersehbar, aber die Gefühle knallen trotzdem voll rein. 🎆💋
August & Sinclair - Lancaster Prep
Okay so.. sadly, I didn’t befriend the book as much as I hoped I would. I was very excited for Augusts book and character, as he’s also Whits son - but meh.. This book was just wayyyy too smutty in my opinion, and the plot got kind of lost along the way. We have August, the oldest Lancaster son of Whit and Summer - the mean, cold and heartless twenty two year old. And then we have Sinclair (I really like the name btw it’s kinda unique) an 18 year old girl who just got into college only for her to meet her past bully again, August. Yes, August did redeem himself from the bullying so I do forgive him about that but I just found it VERY weird that he was an 18 year old, while she was only 14 when he already started to be interested in her. They fight, get along, have sex and so on.. They do make a cute couple together and I’m glad we had a happy end, but as I already mentioned.. the plot just got kind of lost. Yes, the smut was good and good written, but it’s was just wayyy too much 😭 I couldn’t wait to finish this book🥲.
