"I've been convinced the world would end many a time, but the world has this irritating habit of continuation..." While the first two books were about Evie and Amber, this one focuses on Lottie. Very short summary: Lottie wants to call out every single act of sexism she encounters for an entire month and films it for her vlogs. (Sounds exhausting, is exhausting.) Although the story is serious, it still has many moments during which I literally laughed out loud. I rated the first two books with 5 stars and this one won't be any different. I just love the entire series so much since it focuses on very important topics: friendship, mental health, feminism, the future (Lottie wants to get into Cambridge), etc. I really think that this is one of the best YA series because of the variety of topics which are so relevant these days. I'd recommend these books to every single one who enjoys YA books and I'll definitely re-read them.
LEST. DIESES. BUCH. SOFORT. ES IST SO UNFASSBAR GUT. REVIEW TO COME! 😍
THIS BOOK IS SO AMAZING. I cried a lot because everything was just so real and well written.
There was some good information and a lot of the things that made them angry, make me angry all the time, so it was relatable on some level.<spoiler>I didn’t like to love story plot line, I just found it unnecessary and a bit cringe. More so the sex scene … not the time not the place.I do find it important to be sex positiv and I know teenagers t”do have sex but I don’t need it in such detail from minors, especially when it didn’t add anything important to the plot. Also they handelt some topics very immature (e.x Body hair ) I know it’s probably to make it more realistic because they are teenage girls but still :/Also why did they all act like "capitalism" and " patriarchy" are words that are not widely known ?Like come on it was not that hard to understand what lottie was talking about ?!? I liked the creative parts of the book :)I wish I had such cool t-shirts :)Also the parents were annoying /All in all I think this book could be beneficial to people who don’t know that much about feminism like a beginners book .
