Dies ist die Geschichte von Adrian und Winter. Eigentlich ist es mehr als das. Es sind so viele Geschichten, dass man gar nicht weiß, was einen da trifft. 🥲😅 Die Haupthandlung ist, dass Adrian möchte, dass Winter seine verstorbene Frau Lia spielt. Wir wissen nicht, was genau mit ihr passiert ist. Das ist ein großes Mysterium, das sich durch das ganze Buch zieht, und ich wette, durch die ganze Trilogie. Das macht das Lesen noch spannender! Was wir wissen, ist, dass Lia und Winter sich total ähnlich sehen. Sie sind wie Doppelgänger. Adrian war in diesem Buch so launisch und sehr streng zu Winter. Ihre Beziehung und der Teil mit Lia und Rai sind mir ein großes Rätsel, und ich bin gespannt, was die Autorin für uns bereithält. (Einen Stern Abzug, weil mir Adrians Umgang mit Winter viel zu oft nicht gefallen hat.) Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die eine tolle düstere Liebesgeschichte in der Mafiawelt lieben!

Although it took me a while to get into the story at first, I was ultimately captivated by the engaging plot and complex characters. The shocking plot twist at the end of the book completely took me by surprise and compelled me to dive straight into the second one. The unexpected turns and emotional conflicts add a depth to the narrative that sets it apart from other novels. I highly recommend Vow of Deception to anyone looking for a thrilling story with unforeseen twists.
