Anne Bishop just knows her stuff :D and now another year of waiting...
Back with the Others! The third book in this series kept me reading with joy, just like the first book did. So after the disappointment of the second book this makes me again look forward to the ucoming parts of the series. There's not much to say about the story itself without spoilering, so I'll just keep it to the following: very thrilling, creative and in the right pace. I liked very much that the part of the world we read about gets a little bigger and bigger with more characters involved, so that meant as well that we don't focus that much on Meg and Simon anymore which added to the story in my opinion. Of course they're both still elemental for the story but their relationship isn't discussed in such detail anymore. For me the side characters and the world building make this book absolutely worth reading! The only point I'd want to criticize is the short timeframe all the books were placed into, which make some actions seem too stupid and irrational to be believable. But besides that, a great story and I'd like to read more about the Others!
