Honestly i feel like the hate for this book is so forced. I went in expecting a YA romance and i received that. The storyline was fast paced and I really liked the mystery in the background. Yes maybe it was sometimes cringey but I definitely read way worse. I get that maybe she says „daddy“ a bit often but also keep in mind how you speak with your parents and adding to that it was OVER WEEKS -> the amount of times I say „papa“ irl is probably the same amount. I definitely enjoyed my time reading this.

Eden, Queen!🧎🏻♀️ Ich habe den Schreibstil so sehr geliebt. Die Attitude, ahhh. Es war lustig, spannend und lovely zugleich. Ich had such a great time reading it.🤍 In den letzten 20% passiert recht viel. Teilweise darf man nicht weiter drüber nachdenken. ⚠️SPOILER!!: kleines Beispiel - Von Anfang an wird klar, dass die Mutter tot ist, ohne weiter zu erläutern warum. Plötzlich ist sie wieder als Doppelagentin da. Wie?? Da hätte ich mir mehr Tiefe und Erklärungen gewünscht. Es gab noch 2 Stellen in denen es mir ähnlich erging. Das Alter der Hauptprotagonisten hat für mich nicht ganz zu der Story gepasst. In meinem Kopf waren beide ca. 23-29y/o. Es ist wie ein Film als Buch. Die Story ist toll, ohne Frage, aber man darf nicht groß darüber nachdenken, da sich dann ein paar Fragezeichen auftun. Würde ich das Buch trotzdem empfehlen. Ja ,100%ig. Es ist eine YA Romance mit Bodyguard, rich und fake dating Trope. & das bekommt man definitiv auch.🎀
