It took me a bit to warm up to the second book, especially after 2 years passed after the the events at the end of the first one. Dealing with the lapse in time it helps that it doesn‘t feel like two years have passed. There are changes and things that happened in the meantime, but Keir and Silvia are still the same (character-wise), still the characters I know and love. So, the first half of the book is more of a warm-up phase (that doesn’t mean I don’t like it because I do, but I needed time to get into the story), but the second half just SLAYS in the best way. In the second half I was as all-in as I was in the first book, and head over heals in love with the twists and turns. I wouldn‘t say the story goes into an completely unexpected direction (I think you can see that turn of events coming), but that doesn‘t matter in my opinion because the turns are good for the story, and to me it all makes sense now that all the puzzle pieces fall into place. 4/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️/5

Mhm.. actually it was like I’ve suspected; in my opinion the author should’ve added 100 pages to the first book and spare the second one. The first book ended so sudden, with hundreds of unanswered questions and the 2nd book just rushed through it.. there were a lot of jumps in time and it was super fast paced. I disliked Silv in her relationship with Keir, it was so weird how it changed between them; Keir was now super clingy and Silv super distant, I don’t know.. I didn’t felt the love story and even the happy end felt rushed and phoney. I really really loved the first book and sadly the 2nd couldn’t keep up. Oh and the 2nd one had a lot more spelling errors in it, that was sometimes a little annoying.
