I love this series so much. This last book though, less so. Around half of it felt great to watch her story wrap up, but I ended up getting impatient for the flashback to finally end after a while. The flashback was exciting at first, yes, but it's probably the longest one I've ever seen. I know it was needed to tell her story, but I still wanted it to stop at some point. Afterwards, everything wrapped up so fast! And this whole time I had expected and hoped for more romance content with Gideon (still love him so so much). This is a big spoiler: I guess my main problem is, that I wanted to actually see them get together during the story, not just see them eat together and bam, skip to the wedding. It wasn't exactly bad as it was, just disappointing because, again, I wanted more romance with Gideon. My greatest disappointment though? It's that they never did any dom/sub leaning stuff with him being the sub. I felt like it was hinted at so often, with her thinking he'd look good tied up so early in the first book, and he often showed tendicies that he liked her bossing him around. I really expected something to come of that - nothing extreme, but SOMETHING - and I would've loved to read about Gideon like that. Combined with the fact that this whole book was mostly just wrapping up the story without them actually being together in the present, I doubly expected we'd get thrown at treat with that scene finally happening at the end, but sadly I was wrong. I still love this series so much though, and definitely recommend it.
