Es ist.. speziell. Sehr schnell und alles passiert Schlag auf Schlag, dass fand ich eigentlich sehr angenehm. Die Protagonistin ist absolut badass und sorgt auf jeden Fall für den ein oder anderen Lacher! Alles in allem war's mir persönlich an manchen Stellen doch n bisschen zuuuu krass. Und Stockholm-Syndrom schlägt hier zu wie sonst nichts, deswegen der Abzug.

Wer „Die Höhle der Vipern“ liest muss sich klar sein, der Plot gerät in den ein oder anderen Kapiteln in Vergessenheit. Die Story rund um Roxy und die Vipern ist fesselnd, ergreifend und spannend. Ps: die deutsche Übersetzung ist nur leider schrecklich. Also wer kann, sollte es auf englisch lesen.
Habs auf Kindl gelesen und es hatte einfach suuuper viele Schreibfehler 😐 Zwischendurch dachte ich einfach nur noch "wie krank muss man sein" 😅 Zum Ende hin leider viel zu viel unnötiger smut/spice und kaum noch Geschichte 😴 Man muss die Art Buch schon wirklich feiern, um es richtig gut zu finden, aber nochmal lesen bzw weiterempfehlen würde ich es nicht.

The plot screamed wattpad story - the mafia kidnapping, the basicly stockholm syndrom, the I love yous after such a short time and all that wrapped in sex and torture. And yet... I couldn't put it away, had to read and finish it during a weekend. I liked the writing style. Some of the characters reminded me of Zodiac Academy Series just the more adult and a little bit more adult fu**ed up version of it. I want to give it none and all stars at the same time. Compromising and giving the book 3 stars.

Man muss es mögen, gewisse Bücher sind nicht jedermanns Geschmack. Mich erinnert es ein bisschen an Dark Castle von D.C. Odesza. Natürlich kann man die beiden nicht miteinander vergleichen. Aber ich lese gewisse Parallelen raus. Ich persönlich liebs, andere wiederum mögen es nicht. Geschmäcker sind bekanntlich verschieden.
Das Buch war eigentlich ganz gut. Am Anfang brauchte ichzeit mich an die karaktere zu gewöhnen. Aber nach ungefähr 50 Seite hab mir das Buch sehr gefallen bis so ungefähr zu Hälfte nach dem großen Plot fand ich das dir Spannung sehr angenommen hatte und es wurde mir auch zu viel Smut. Man hatte von dem Buch locker 100-150 Seiten kürzen können. Daher ist es für mich nur 3 Sterne wert. Aber trotzdem kein schlechtes Buch.
Leider zieht sich das Buch extrem. Die ersten 50% habe ich echt super gerne gelesen, aber danach wurde es schwierig für mich. Die Charaktere habe ich echt geliebt, vor allem Roxy hat es mir so angetan mit ihrer Badass- Seite. Die Idee dahinter hat mir auch echt gut gefallen, aber manches hätte man einfach weglassen können, damit es nicht soooo lang wird.

No K1nk shaming aber ich weiß nicht auf welchen Substanzen der Charakter von Diesel erfunden wurde..xD Ihr verpasst nichts in eurem Leben, wenn ihr es nicht gelesen habt - hab es mir aber im Nachhinein wesentlich schlimmer vorgestellt als es war. Die Autorin wäre auf jeden Fall eine gute Schriftstellerin für Erwachsenen Filme xD Dark Romance, dass auf jeden Fall einige Trigger benötigt und nichts für zart besaitete Leser ist. Nun ist sie mit den vier gefährlichsten Männer der Stadt in einem Penthaus eingesperrt. Je länger sie jedoch bei den Männern ist, desto näher kommen sie sich. Ihre Welt gerät erneut ins Wanken als es eine Bedrohung von außen auf sie abgesehen hat. Dieses Buch kommt mit knapp 650 Seiten in einem für ein Taschenbuch sehr großen Format daher. Wer aufgrund dessen viel Inhalt erwartet, den muss ich leider enttäuschen, denn es gibt für mein Empfinden mehr Erotik als Plot. Leser die Bücher allerdings wegen dem Smut und nicht wegen dem Inhalt lesen, werden mit diesem Buch jedoch sehr glücklich werden. Ich persönlich hätte mir entweder mehr Handlung gewünscht oder einfach eine gekürzte Variante der bestehenden Geschichte. Die expliziten Szenen sind auch für eine Dark Romance Story eher extremerer Natur (CNC, Blood-und Gun-Play etc.), es ist also nicht unbedingt für Einsteiger in das Genre geeignet. Eine Triggerwarnung konnte ich weder am Anfang noch am Ende des Buches finden. Der Plot des Buches lässt sich quasi in einen Satz zusammenfassen: Eine Frau wird von fünf auf extrem attraktiven und gefährlichen Männern entführt und verliebt dich dann auf eine verdrehte Stockholm-Syndrom Art in kürzester Zeit in jeden einzelnen. Das ist meiner Meinung nach nicht besonders kreativ, obwohl es durchaus Potenzial gehabt hätte. Gefallen hat mir hierbei grundsätzlich, dass Roxy eine starke, mutige und selbstbestimmte Frau ist, die sich nicht in die Opferrolle drängen lässt. Die Verbindung zu den Männern zieht die Autorin dann indem jeder der Männer ein Trauma mit ihr teilt und sie sich dann gegenseitig heilen. Gutes Buch, hat Spaß gemacht. Am Anfang allerdings deutlich mehr, als am Ende. Hätte wirklich kürzer sein können, gerade im letzten Drittel unnötig in die Länge gezogen, ohne dass noch groß Handlung dazu kam 🙈 mochte trotzdem alle Charaktere sehr!

Tbh I don't even know what to say to this. Is this even dark romance? If yes then I fully agree with that. The first smut scene and just Diesels character kinda freaked me out. But in a good way yk?... This was my first dark romance book and I have to say, I can't really tell you anything about the plot other than: Roxys dad is a Bastard who deserves something way worse than death and hell (he sold her to the mf mafia and abused her as a child) and Roxy lives with 4 mafiosos (mafia men, mafia leaders, dons? Man idk) who all have the hots for her but at the beginning most of them are like "nah, she's just leverage. She's hot leverage, but leverage none the less". And then there's Diesel. Mother. Fucking. Diesel. He's hot don't get me wrong. But he's a psychopath. Do you know that video where an old man goes "He's kinda cute. HES A MURDERER. But he's kinda cute..." that is basically Diesel (and the others) in a nutshell. The Book in and of itself did not have any plot (as far as I could tell, sorry if I was just too dumb to see it) but the smut is pretty good so I decided on the middle ground of 3 stars. This is just my opinion. If you thoroughly enjoyed this book and have a different opinion on "Den if Vipers" then, good for you, I'm happy you found a book that you really like/love. But other than the smut it wasn't really for me. I didn't struggle, per say, while reading it but I don't think I would ever re-read it.

Long Story Short: I fucking Loved it. I love all off them. I love the story about Love and that you can be horribly broken and still find unconditional love. End of Story. I fucking loved it and read it 4 times. Thats it.
Do I read such stuff for the plot? I doubt it. For the smut? Yes, please. It was an interesting read and I understand some feedbacks about the heavy smut. But hey, it was hot, it was craziness itself. Liked it.

Das Buch ist nicht tiefgründig, die Spannung haut einen nicht vom Hocker und der Plot ist vorhersehbar. Aber ist das der Anspruch an das Buch? Nein. Den of Vipers is schlichte Smutlektüre und das war’s. Wenn man nicht mehr als das erwartet, dann kann man da Buch auch genießen. Hinsichtlich des Plots könnte es aber dennoch auch locker 150 Seiten kürzer sein.
For the first half I would have given the book 4 stars but after that it got so repetitive that I lost the interest in continuing. The book easily could have been cut in half only by leaving half of the sex scenes out. Most of the time they were not that relevant to the story. It seems that the author only wanted to shock the readers (which in my case she did! I was very shocked )But all in all it was a shocking book and it was an okay reed.
I had heard loads of things about this book and how amazing it was. First of all, not really what I was expecting, basically while it was being recommended everyone failed to mention sex in it. It started off great and I got hooked into the story then sex happened and more sex happened and some really questionable WTF? sex happened. The story is great, although it should come with MASSIVE trigger warnings attached to it and there are quite a few sex scenes in it, where let's face it no one gets to have sex that much, do they? Anyway read it or not, I couldn't think of a reason not to give it four stars because I did like it.
I finished this after what feels like twelve years, skipped over the last 30%, cause it was too long, and I have never been as conflicted with rating a book as I am now. Excuse me, but after looking for Jesus, I found him and am now in therapy with him. This was a lot. I am wondering who would ever RECOMMEND this book. Seriously, no. It finds its way to you, or it doesn't. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. However, besides the point, probably irrelevant, anyway... after some time (obviously not taking this book seriously) I was invested and enjoyed it, even though it was just repetitively written aka wattpad style. Honestly, I don't want to think about what that says about me. I'll catch another call with my therapist, brb ✌
Best dark book ... I loved it, I love all five of you. Each one in his own way stole my heart too and I definitely adore all my dear boys Diesel, Kenzo, Ryder, Garret and my viper queen, little bird, princess, love...Roxy. It has become my favorite story, without a doubt

3.5 Stars! This was my first "Why-Choose" trope. And damn..was this spicy! I loved the different characters. I am In Love with the FMC and her badassery. It was refreshing, reading about a FMC who can totally handle her business and then some. My heart belongs to Diesel! I loved his crazy ass :D You are definitely in for a spicy read with crazy and sometimes cringe worthy scenes...the way I was blushing.. So if that is not your cup of tea, I recommend you skip this one lol.
I couldn’t bear to finish this, it’s straight up bad. It reads like one of the better wattpad stories, but not one of the good ones. I don’t like the characters and the first steamy scenes just scream straight up abuse. Couldn’t find the plot in the book. For everyone that likes this kind of book and especially this kind of smut, go for it. Everyone else just don’t.

I have no words, this book was just insane. Sooo.. I wrote to Reviews the first one with more Details and the second one is just a small one with the most present topics. I will Part them with a line that you can read the first or the second one This exciting story delved into the secretive world of the mafia, providing an exceptional experience. With a length of around 600-700 pages, it took readers on an immersive journey. Personally, I prefer standalone books rather than series, and I believe authors should focus on creating complete stories rather than splitting them into smaller parts. I often find myself eagerly anticipating sequels, only to lose track of them or get caught up in other commitments. The story revolves around Roxxane, a strong bar owner in a rough part of the city. Her reputation for being tough is well-known due to her combat skills and unyielding nature. She keeps a baseball bat behind the bar and uses unconventional tactics when needed. After Roxy leaves her abusive father, he gets into debt with the local mob called the Vipers. He offers his daughter to settle the debt, leading to a dangerous situation. Four enforcers are sent to retrieve her, but Roxy surprises them. However, this prompts the Vipers to capture her, putting her in an even worse situation. What I liked: Roxy is an outstanding protagonist with independence, resilience, and beauty. She's fearless and comfortable with pain, facing the four attractive tough enforcers who capture her. These enforcers share a brotherly bond and have a deep connection from their past hardships. Ryder, their leader, oversees the Viper organization. Diesel's quirky behavior is consistent, but his extreme statements about causing harm to Roxy seemed excessive. Maintaining consistency in character expressions is important. Overall, I had a positive experience with this book. The length, flow, and action stood out. The humor and quotes were memorable. Read this book in 3 days and I love it so much. This was my first book in dark romance and I still think about it and compare it to many others. I can understand if somebody doesn’t like the plot, but if you like the spice and violence, you will like the book.
People claiming this storyline is too flat also tend to watch porn for the plot.

Long Story Short: I fucking Loved it. I love all off them. I love the story about Love and that you can be horribly broken and still find unconditional love. End of Story. I fucking loved it and read it 4 times. Thats it.
Do I read such stuff for the plot? I doubt it. For the smut? Yes, please. It was an interesting read and I understand some feedbacks about the heavy smut. But hey, it was hot, it was craziness itself. Liked it.

Das Buch ist nicht tiefgründig, die Spannung haut einen nicht vom Hocker und der Plot ist vorhersehbar. Aber ist das der Anspruch an das Buch? Nein. Den of Vipers is schlichte Smutlektüre und das war’s. Wenn man nicht mehr als das erwartet, dann kann man da Buch auch genießen. Hinsichtlich des Plots könnte es aber dennoch auch locker 150 Seiten kürzer sein.
For the first half I would have given the book 4 stars but after that it got so repetitive that I lost the interest in continuing. The book easily could have been cut in half only by leaving half of the sex scenes out. Most of the time they were not that relevant to the story. It seems that the author only wanted to shock the readers (which in my case she did! I was very shocked )But all in all it was a shocking book and it was an okay reed.
I had heard loads of things about this book and how amazing it was. First of all, not really what I was expecting, basically while it was being recommended everyone failed to mention sex in it. It started off great and I got hooked into the story then sex happened and more sex happened and some really questionable WTF? sex happened. The story is great, although it should come with MASSIVE trigger warnings attached to it and there are quite a few sex scenes in it, where let's face it no one gets to have sex that much, do they? Anyway read it or not, I couldn't think of a reason not to give it four stars because I did like it.
I finished this after what feels like twelve years, skipped over the last 30%, cause it was too long, and I have never been as conflicted with rating a book as I am now. Excuse me, but after looking for Jesus, I found him and am now in therapy with him. This was a lot. I am wondering who would ever RECOMMEND this book. Seriously, no. It finds its way to you, or it doesn't. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. However, besides the point, probably irrelevant, anyway... after some time (obviously not taking this book seriously) I was invested and enjoyed it, even though it was just repetitively written aka wattpad style. Honestly, I don't want to think about what that says about me. I'll catch another call with my therapist, brb ✌
Best dark book ... I loved it, I love all five of you. Each one in his own way stole my heart too and I definitely adore all my dear boys Diesel, Kenzo, Ryder, Garret and my viper queen, little bird, princess, love...Roxy. It has become my favorite story, without a doubt

3.5 Stars! This was my first "Why-Choose" trope. And damn..was this spicy! I loved the different characters. I am In Love with the FMC and her badassery. It was refreshing, reading about a FMC who can totally handle her business and then some. My heart belongs to Diesel! I loved his crazy ass :D You are definitely in for a spicy read with crazy and sometimes cringe worthy scenes...the way I was blushing.. So if that is not your cup of tea, I recommend you skip this one lol.
I couldn’t bear to finish this, it’s straight up bad. It reads like one of the better wattpad stories, but not one of the good ones. I don’t like the characters and the first steamy scenes just scream straight up abuse. Couldn’t find the plot in the book. For everyone that likes this kind of book and especially this kind of smut, go for it. Everyone else just don’t.

I will Part them with a line that you can read the first or the second one This exciting story delved into the secretive world of the mafia, providing an exceptional experience. With a length of around 600-700 pages, it took readers on an immersive journey. Personally, I prefer standalone books rather than series, and I believe authors should focus on creating complete stories rather than splitting them into smaller parts. I often find myself eagerly anticipating sequels, only to lose track of them or get caught up in other commitments. The story revolves around Roxxane, a strong bar owner in a rough part of the city. Her reputation for being tough is well-known due to her combat skills and unyielding nature. She keeps a baseball bat behind the bar and uses unconventional tactics when needed. After Roxy leaves her abusive father, he gets into debt with the local mob called the Vipers. He offers his daughter to settle the debt, leading to a dangerous situation. Four enforcers are sent to retrieve her, but Roxy surprises them. However, this prompts the Vipers to capture her, putting her in an even worse situation. What I liked: Roxy is an outstanding protagonist with independence, resilience, and beauty. She's fearless and comfortable with pain, facing the four attractive tough enforcers who capture her. These enforcers share a brotherly bond and have a deep connection from their past hardships. Ryder, their leader, oversees the Viper organization. Kenzo, Ryder's sibling, manages illicit casinos and handles physical altercations. Diesel is an assassin skilled in torture, with a charm beneath his unsettling exterior. Garrett, another enforcer, avoids relationships due to past betrayal. The storylines are captivating, starting with Roxy's capture and delving into their challenges with the mob. The individual backgrounds and romances are enjoyable. What I didn't like: Roxy's brashness can be excessive at times, like propping her feet on the table during a meeting. Diesel's quirky behavior is consistent, but his extreme statements about causing harm to Roxy seemed excessive. Maintaining consistency in character expressions is important. Overall, I had a positive experience with this book. The length, flow, and action stood out. The humor and quotes were memorable. Despite minor flaws, I rate it 5 stars because its strengths outweigh shortcomings. It would have been more fitting for her to project strength without resorting to rudeness. Diesel's quirks and Roxy's attraction to pain aligned well in intimate moments. However, his repeated mention of potentially harming Roxy, even after professing love, felt excessive and took away from his charm. In general, I hold a positive view of the book. Its blend of steamy scenes, a substantial storyline, and engaging action kept me hooked. The humor and numerous memorable quotes added to its appeal. Despite some minor drawbacks, the positives significantly outweighed them, securing my 5-star rating. The fact that it's a standalone book, not a series, is a standout feature that I wish more authors would consider.
Read this book in 3 days and I love it so much. This was my first book in dark romance and I still think about it and compare it to many others. I can understand if somebody doesn’t like the plot, but if you like the spice and violence, you will like the book.
People claiming this storyline is too flat also tend to watch porn for the plot.

I can't say I liked it. I can't say I didn't like it. I need some holy water after reading it, maybe an exorcism as well. The plot screamed wattpad story - the mafia kidnapping, the basicly stockholm syndrom, the I love yous after such a short time and all that wrapped in sex and torture. And yet... I couldn't put it away, had to read and finish it during a weekend. I liked the writing style. Some of the characters reminded me of Zodiac Academy Series just the more adult and a little bit more adult fu**ed up version of it. I want to give it none and all stars at the same time. Compromising and giving the book 3 stars.
