Absolutely perfect.
This was a reread, as I already read the indie version last year, but let me tell you all about how I LOVE THIS. The characters are absolutely loveable, the plot is fast paced, there is so much humour and love in these pages that made me grin and laugh and want to kick my feet, the writing is magnificent and the added details compared the the indie version rounded this up perfectly. 10/10
It's not perfect, but loved it. It was just fun even if I felt a few things were missing. Cayden is so positively obsessed with Elowen. Love it. And Finnian, Ryder, Saskia... The banter was so good too. I'm really looking forward to the next book.
It was a good book but I didn’t feel like it was fleshed out enough. The relationships between the protagonist (main and side) lacked emotion in my opinion. Scenes sometimes didn‘t make sense because somethings happened and I was like „How did they get there. Weren‘t they just on the other side of the room?“. And it felt like it needed to happend something on every side of the book but in my opinion a good fantasy has high point with lots of action and other points where the characters are allowed to grow themselves and relationships with others. I found that lacking in this book. But I enjoyed the premise of the book I’m just not sold 100% on the execution.
