Aurelia escapes a brutal and traumatic life, running into the woods, being lost but finding a cabin for shelter and running into the arms of three cursed brothers, not knowing that their future is irreversibly connected. While Aurelia finds comfort and starts to trust her saviour, she heals from trauma, grows stronger, independent and gets her life and self-worth back. Every part of this book goes very deeply and gives you all the feels. It was interesting, exciting, spicy and full of magic. It’s about self-love, gaining trust and fighting for a life worth living to overcome the past. The book is written in different perspectives, which gives you a good insight in Aurelia’s and Maddox thoughts and feelings. This grumpy MMC with his dominant aura is giving you goosebumps and trembling legs. And be to be honest… we all are absolutely into the moody, grumpy type of guy! The three brothes charmed their way into my heart and I adore them. Fox stole my heart with his cocky, happy attitude and Xav is an absolute sweetheart being his empathic self. There are so many amazing tropes in this book like forced proxitimity, found family, magic and dislike to love. I loved everything about it and I would love to read more from Cass, because this book is absolutely brilliant and I couldn’t put it down. With every word you feel so many emotions and can tell that the author poured her heart into writing this special book. Hopefully this beautiful work of art will be translated into German, so my bookish friends can devour it like I did!
