Auch der zweite Teil ist einfach wahnsinnig gut. Die Geschichte von Nessa und Miko hat mich sogar noch mehr gefesselt. The Beauty and the beast. Die Story ist sehr gut und zu keinem Zeitpunkt langweilig. Die Illustrationen sind wieder wunderschön und es gab diesmal mehr Musik gebundene Kapitel. Band 3 liegt schon neben mir und wird als Nächstes gelesen.
Genau wie das erste Buch einfach der Hammer. Die Story war so schön und auch gut brutal. Find's einfach super. Einziger kleiner Minus Punkt, die Story hat sich ein wenig schnell angefühlt. Sonst der Hammer.
Ich mochte das Buch sehr gerne, obwohl es in Mafia Kreisen angesiedelt ist und einige brutale Szenen beinhaltet. Aber das sich langsame Annähern von Nessa und Miko war so schön. Und auch was Miko bereit war für die Liebe aufzugeben. Ich werde die Reihe auf jeden Fall weiter lesen.
Genauso gut wie der erste Teil!
Nessa. Ich hab sie schon im ersten Teil geliebt und jetzt noch mehr. Auch Miko hat mein Herz gewonnen. Mir hat deren Story sehr gefallen, der Plot mit Jonas war Mega spannend, mein Puls ist richtig hoch gegangen. Ich find es Mega toll wie Nessa sich entwickelt hat und sich doch irgendwo selbst gefunden hat.

It was even better than the first! I would gave it 10 stars out of 5 😍 How they first started of as enemies and became lover through the entire book, was just heartwarming 😩 Those two fit perfectly together even tho it wasn’t easy for them
Gute Mafia Romance
Viel Mafia und Gewalt in einer Art Schöne und Biest Nacherzählung. Teilweise abgedreht und nicht ernst zu nehmen. Verstand auch nicht ganz, vorher die Gefühle plötzlich kamem. Aber das habe ich schon im 1. Buch befunden. Die Autorin ist nicht so gut darin. Sonst war es aber sehr unterhaltsam und actionreich. Wer Mafia Romance mag, wird es lieben.

Ich habe dieses Buch geliebt. GELIEBT!!!! Es war so unglaublich gut. Also 1. Ich LIEBE Miko!! Ich bin ihm schon nach dem 1. Kapitel verfallen und man merkte schnell, dass zwischen ihm und Nessa mehr ist. Und ich liebe Nessa, sie hat so eine krasse Entwichlung durch gemacht und sie ist alles andere als langweilig. Sie ist hübsch, talentiert, klug und tanzt mit so einer Begeisterung und Gefühl, dass es mich berührt hat. Und ich liebe auch Klara, sie ist so süß und lieb und hat sich am Ende des Buches bewiesen. (Und sie und Marcel sind auch soo süß) Und natürlich habe ich auch die Gallos wieder einfach nur geliebt. Ich habe in diesem Buch so viel gekichert und ich wurde richtig mitgerissen. Ich kann dieses Buch nur empfehlen und freue mich auf die Bücher von Sophie Lark, die noch vor mir liegen. ♡
Kann man sich in seinen Entführer verlieben?🔥
Im zweiten Band der Reihe geht es um Nessa Griffin und ihren Entführer und Bandenchef Miko. Er ist der Polnische Bandenchef und will eine alte Rechnung begleichen und Sie soll ihm dabei unfreiwillig helfen. Sie ist eine Ballerina und der best behütetste Mensch im Hause Griffin. Kann Miko den Griffins über Nessa am meisten wehtun? Kann er seine Ziele weiterverfolgen je besser er Nessa kennenlernt und kann sie sich mit der Zeit weiter von Miko distanzieren? Ein Buch, das so voller Rache Gelüsten und explosiver Stimmung ist - das ich es kaum aus der Hand legen konnte. Die Trope hat mir wieder richtig gut gefallen🖤

Stolen Heir mochte ich ganz gern, hat sich wie Teil 1 der Reihe wirklich schnell lesen lassen. Ich hätte mir noch ein bisschen mehr Spannung zwischen den Charakteren erhofft und ein bisschen mehr Plot. War aber ganz nett für zwischendurch und ich freue mich auf die nächsten Teile der Reihe.

I didn't expect much from a mafia-themed retelling of Beauty and the Beast, but I ended up devouring the book in one sitting. The story is fast-paced and perfect for getting out of a reading slump. Sophie Lark has quickly become my go-to author for such times. For those new to dark romance, this is a great starting point. For me, a seasoned dark romance reader, it felt more like a romcom—a refreshing change of pace and an easy read. Miko's gothic appeal was incredibly captivating. I'm starting to appreciate blond men more now. Nessa, the good girl of the story, was wonderfully written—she could have easily fallen flat, but she turned out to be delightful with her gentle nature. I'm definitely continuing with the series. The vibe is fantastic, and I'm excited to meet the new characters. I just ordered Nero's book, which has received the most mixed reviews. Wish me luck!

Hat mich nicht so gecatched wie band 1, leider. War aber keine schlechte Story. Außder hat mich das ein wenig an die schöne und das Biest erinnert.
War eigentlich echt süß vor allem die zweite Hälfte. Manchmal war es mir etwas sehr krank deswegen 4⭐️
Ich fand manchmal das es einfach h alles (vor allem am Anfang) sehr krankhaft unf toxisch war. Das hat sich aber in der zweiten Hälfte sehr geändert. Danach war die Beziehung sogar recht süß. Das Ende hat mir gut gutfallen und es war auch wirklich spannend. Ich mochte die Entwicklung unserer Protagonistin sehr, sie war zum Schluss einfach nur mehr stark. Von dem verunsichertem, naiven Mädchen war nichts mehr übrig. Ich mochte auch an sich all ihre Beziehungen, sie war von Anfang an ein kompletter Sonnenschein! Grundsätzlich kann ich es auf jeden Fall empfehlen! Werde wahrscheinlich weiterlesen.

It’s actually 2.5 stars, but only because the beginning and the ending was kinda fun & since I believe in Marcel and Klara supremacy. This book is a good palate cleanser, it is not a good romance and it is not a dark mafia book. The writing here is fine, easy to read & kinda addictive, even though Sophie lark sometimes uses too much telling instead of showing dir my liking. The story however was all over the place. This book is a mafia kidnapping story and it just was kinda tame? It is obvious that Miko likes Nessa and the buildup of their romance is just not there. You can’t really understand why Nessa did fall for him other. The romance is not given enough time to properly develop & it kinda feels very rushed & especially one steamy scene did feel very ooc to me and also had more than dubios consent …. The mafia storyline at times is a lot of fun & other times just feels like a trope & some events were also way too convenient . I get that the mafia storyline is just the backdrop & the romance is the main event but it just felt kinda lazy at times. Nessa is a nice enough main character she is cute & I liked her . I just thought that her interactions with characters who weren’t miko were so much more interesting. Her friendship with Klara was so wholesome and I adored it or her dynamics within her family were also so much more interesting. Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the third book in the made series (darkest temptation) I still think it delivers a better mafia kidnapping story if that is your thing. Still I’m kinda intrigued by this universe and the many characters in it & I kinda wanna see if the other books have a romance or plot that is more well executed.

Also erstmal wurde hier meine Vermutung bei Band 1 bestätigt. Die deutsche Übersetzung taugt nicht viel. Auf Englisch ist der Schreibstil der Autorin einfach so so viel besser! Es lohnt sich wirklich diese Reihe auf Englisch zu lesen. Es war mein erster kompletter Read auf Englisch und es war super zu verstehen. Die Story war toll. Ich weiß es ist erst der 2. Band, aber ich glaub das hier ist mein Lieblingsband der Reihe. Einfach weil es ne Dark Romance Nacherzählung von "Die Schöne und das Biest" ist. Auch die Figuren fand ich großartig. Nessa hat so eine tolle Entwicklung in diesem Buch hinter sich gebracht. Genau wie Miko. Man hat einfach gemerkt wie die beiden gewisse Seiten am jeweils anderen hervorgerufen haben. Ein super spannendes Buch und ich bin gespannt wies weiter gehen wird.
So honestly, I really love the book. I love how it is inspired by the beauty and the beast and how the female main character also references the beauty and the beast in her ballerina choreography.🩰 I also have to say at first I was a little bit skeptical because it was about kidnapping and I was so scared that this was just some Stockholm syndrome kinda book or some shit like that🥸 BUT surprisingly, I don’t want to spoiler you, but he will give her a choice later on and even after he releases her they continue their romantic relationship and I just thought it was really lovely🫶🏻✨ It is the second book of the brutal birthright series and I loved it more than the first one and I already ordered the two next books✌🏻 I simply loved the characters and I am very much looking forward to seeing how different the other relationships will be like👀 I also found it very sad because one of the characters I really liked died yeah that sucked,💀 I would definitely recommend this book!! If you are a fan of dark romance and like the beauty and the beast than that book is for you🧚🏻♀️

This book was BEYOND awesome. Like, wow. Havent read such a masterpiece in a while. The writing style is so beautiful and detailed, its crazy. Sophie Lark really did magic here. The characters are so well written and each and every one of them is sympathic in thier own way. The plot is so damn captivating. I read this book in around a week cause I literally couldnt put it down. Its the perfect Mix of sweet, romantic, dark, intresting and magical. Its like a fairytale. The vibes too!! Its kind of gothic, kind of whimsy. It gives so good 'The beauty and the beast' vibes too. I can only reccomend this book ♡
