Cute!
- Characters and writing style were quite alright, what really carried the book was the - Amazing Plot execution => even better than the premise - Funny / great humor - feel good rom-com - only the tiniest bit of third act drama (maybe like three pages) I hate that kind of thing because its usually some stupid miscommunication drama that could be easily solved. It’s in this one as well, but as I was saying: I think it was put there because every romance books seems to need one nowadays. - the house is so amazing, I wanna live there
It was an okay-read. I had no high hopes in the beginning. Nicholas was so unlikable and such a mom-boy that I could not fathom that they will smooth everything out. He gave me the ick so many times, but in the end it was Naomi I could not stand. They are engaged but their relationship is in shambles and I still don´t know why, how it became like that. However, they are set to marry in a couple of months and Naomi does not see herself saying yes to Nicholas. She does not love him anymore, she doesn´t even like him. But she does not want to bear the costs of the marriage and the consequences of calling off the wedding. So she starts this feud with Nicholas of annoying each other and seeing who calls the wedding off first. But little does Naomi know that Nicholas wants to safe them and not ruin them any further. And when I learned that Nicholas still holds on to that relationship, my views changed. Yes, it is still both their faults that this relationship got to rock bottom but it was more Naomis fault to be honest. After everything he still wants to be with the woman who does not even like to be in his presence? Who puts ZERO effort into this relationship? I finished the book and I still don´t see why he held on. Anyway, as soon as their feud started the book got interesting and enjoyable. But as soon as this excitement died down, the book got really fast really boring. So I would say, yes, it was an enjoyable read, but only halfway and not really worth your time. If you already own this book, you could give it a go, otherwise I would not go out of my way to buy this.

This book was so cute and funny I just couldn't put it down because I had so much fun with it. The Characters were great and did Go trough such a strong development. The writing Just made me smile all the time and I can just recommend it to everyone who needs a good laugh in the day. This is one of my first adult romance books and it makes me want to read more.
... this was simply the best book i've ever read. i'm not even exaggerating. this is THE Romance Novel™. i've read a lot of romance books in the past couple of years and none of them even come close to this absolute treasure of a story. do yourself a favour and read it.
I love RomComs. It's pretty easy to get four stars out of me. But the first 50% of the book were so mean spirited and the main character so unlikable and paranoid, it was the first time I'd hoped she'd get dumped for good. The second 50% felt like a forced way to make it to a happy ending. Their interactions and niceties felt artificial and I didn't really get emotionally invested in their relationship or how they end up as I use to in books. Three stars because the author still got me sucked into the book and made me want to finish it. (Two of the stars might be swooning over their house.)
3⭐️ - the book wasn't it for me. in some ways it was too slow. the ending was cute tho.
3,5✨ Es ist weniger RomCom und mehr „lernen den Partner nicht mehr für selbstverständlich zu nehmen“
Esperaba más de este libro pero estuvo ok y naominicholas me recordaron a quinngraham y eszan
“Has Nicholas ever looked this happy? No. What a shame, to know I've been accepting anything less than this smile he's giving me right now.” was this realistic? no. did i still feel for the characters and giggled like an idiot? YES. miscommunication and i have a love-hate relationship and this one was a hit. the pranks and trying to make the other person break up first made them closer than ever before. it's silly, it's cute, and i will definitely read more of sarah hogle's books!
This is cute or whatever
I think I get what the author is going for, but I can’t handle it. I made it 30% but I have to quit.
