In this book, the protagonist will continuously tell you how clever she is and then everything that happens and everything she does will show you otherwise. Also, it's extremely predictable. And boring. Luckily it's short (mainly because there is no world building and no depth to the characters). Read if you want a protagonist that can do one thing: overhear important stuff because she cluelessly stumbles around and feels like the best. Also I didn't know there was a sequel. I'd rather there wasn't. Won't read.
3.5 i guesed the plot twist at the end, yay! it was a solid book with incredibly interesting characters and very sweet hate-to-love romance dani and carmen are literally the cutest, i am melting!!! all in all, i am satisfied with this book and can't wait to read more about the characters because i love angst and getting my heart broken also i am kinda hoping for mateo to painfully die in the second book
