On the Way to the Wedding (Bridgertons, 8)

Ich hatte erst so meine Probleme mit dem letzten Teil der Bridgerton Reihe, aber die zweite Hälfte hat mich dann doch noch abgeholt. 😍 Liebs, wie Gregory und Lucy sich erst nicht wirklich leiden können und dann durch unglückliche Umstände doch noch zueinander finden, obwohl es erst so ausweglos erscheint. Der zweite Epilog hat mir fast das Herz gebrochen. Zum Glück nur fast 😅❤️‍🩹

My favourite one!

Gregory‘s story has to be my favourite story out of all the siblings stories. It’s fun, it’s cute, it’s romantic, it’s thrilling, it just keeps you reading. Lucy is such a great character as well.

“Her eyes glistened as they met his. In the dim light of the night, they looked a dark, dark gray, and achingly sad. He could imagine the entire world there, in the depths of her gaze. Everything he needed to know, everything he might ever need to know—it was there, within her.” To be honest, this book was the one I was least excited for to read, because you don't really get to know Gregory in the other books of the series but as I read the prologue I couldn't put it down anymore and I was captivated. When he ran into the church, confessing his love for the Bride I just had to know what would lead to this circumstances. And as I read I was falling in love with both caracters. I had tears in my eyes when Lucy left to marry another man because her sense of honor dictated it to her and bacause she wanted to protect her brother and best friend and Gregory could just sit there and feel his heart breaking and realize he was about to loose her to another man forever. This book was so different from the other ones, had so many twists and turns that I hadn't seen coming and I loved every second of it! It was an amazing and thrilling end to this wonderful series.

This was actually quite good. Again, because there's more to the story than just troubled love.

Tú me haces mejor, Lucy. Haces que tenga deseos, esperanzas y aspiraciones. Haces que quiera hacer cosas. Mis dos libros favoritos de la serie de Los Bridgerton fueron los que a casi nadie les gusto. Y es que la verdad me encanta que tanto Hyacinth como Gregory no sean como sus hermanos, porque me hubiera vuelta loca leyendo a otro Anthony o Benedict. Me encanta que al principio Gregory estuviera "enamorado" de alguien más, pero incluso el con todos sus hermanos anteriores tendria que saber que las cosas no salen como él quiere. Adore a Lucy, la forma en la que se menospreciaba por su amiga me hizo recordar mucho a mi misma, y eso dolió poquito por al menos ella encontró a su príncipe. El final fue muy divertido. Me preguntó cómo se sentirá Lady Violet con 9 bebés Bridgerton nuevos. Fue un buen final para Los Bridgerton.

Nicht das beste Buch der Reihe, aber trotzdem noch ganz gut👍

Gregory war am Anfang nicht so sympathisch, hat sich aber am Ende noch gemacht. Phasenweise hat es sich etwas gezogen, aber allem in allem war es trotzdem eine schöne Geschichte.

I loved the story of Lucy and Gregory. I absolutely adored the moments with the whole Bridgerton family and I'm quite sad, that it's now over!

Ein gelungener Abschluss der Reihe. Das Buch ist schnell und leicht zu lesen und hat im Vergleich zu den Vorgängern neue Thematiken aufgeworfen.
