Wieder eine spicy Geschichte, die zum mitfiebern einlädt. Eine starke Protagonistin, die mit ihrer Vergangenheit kämpft und ein Protagonist, der jeden mit allen Mitteln beschützt, der ihm am Herzen liegt. Was die Bonuskapitel für einen Sinn hatten ist für mich nicht ganz klar. Es gibt 2 Bonuskapitel. Das erste ist ein reines „Bumskapitel“ und das zweite nichts halbes und nichts ganzes und brachte überhaupt nichts für die Geschichte von Jules und Josh 🤷🏻♀️
Meiner Meinung nach überbewertet
Ich weiß, dass der 3. Teil der Twisted Reihe von vielen Leser/innen der Lieblingsteil ist. Meiner war es leider nicht... Die Charaktere sind toll, der Schreibstil echt super gelungen, aber fesselnd fand ich es bei Weitem leider nicht. Es war einfach zu viel Spice für meinen Geschmack (obwohl ich auf gut ausgebauten Spice stehe). Aber hier war es einfach nur too much. Der Fremd-schäm und Augen-roll-Modus war stets an, ich war teilweise genervt davon und hab (leider) gehofft, dass es bald vorbei ist. Teil 4 muss jetzt erstmal warten, ich stürze mich jetzt auf ein bissl Action.

Die Geschichte dreht sich um Josh Chen und Jules Ambrose, zwei Charaktere, die auf den ersten Blick wie Feinde wirken. Josh ist der gutaussehende, aber gefühlskalte ältere Bruder von Ava, während sie selbst eine toughe, selbstbewusste Frau ist, die mit ihrer eigenen Vergangenheit kämpft. Der Konflikt zwischen den beiden entwickelt sich schnell von einem klassischen „Hass-zu-Liebe“-Szenario zu einer leidenschaftlichen und emotional aufgeladenen Liebesgeschichte.Die Spannung zwischen Josh und Jules ist greifbar, was die dramatischen und emotionalen Höhepunkte der Geschichte umso intensiver macht. Wer die vorherigen Teile der Reihe mochte, wird auch bei Twisted Hate auf seine Kosten kommen. Das Buch bleibt der Reihe treu und bietet Fans eine tiefgründigere und leidenschaftlichere Geschichte. Wer auf komplexe Beziehungen, emotionales Drama und eine Dosis prickelnder Spannung steht, wird dieses Buch lieben.
hab das Buch lange vor mich hergeschoben. Verstehe im Endeffekt nicht warum es war toll ich konnte mich perfekt in die Welt und in die Charaktere hineinversetzen und es war das Buch was am meisten realitätsnah ist (aus der reihe)
Mir hat das Buch von Anfang an eigentlich richtig gut gefallen. Ich war direkt gecatched & wollte ständig weiterlesen! :) Das 1. 1/3 war irgendwie vollgepackt mit Stereotypes, also irgendwie wusste man die ganze Zeit ganz genau, was passiert. Aber genau das brauchte ich irgendwie gerade - a fun, dramatic, hot read. Alle Charaktere wachsen einem nach jedem Band mehr ans Herz & ich lieb's!
Die Sidestorys waren für meinen Geschmack zu present. Man hat von der Haters to lovers Spannung nicht viel mitbekommen, trotzdem ein gutes Buch. Ich hatte Hoffnung auf ein 5/5 Sterne Buch.
"I didn’t believe in false humility—I knew I looked good." Josh and Jules connection felt so genuine. The spicy scened were impeccable and I loved there banter and was happy that they didn't loose that banter or their edge even after they turned lovers. Rhys and Bridget are still my favorite twisted couple, but Josh and Jules are a close second! I enjoyed the subplot about crime combined with Jules past. Although it leads to a third act conflict that wasn't really necessary in my opinion. What I truly disliked was Jules change from I don’t know if marriage and kids are for me to (after getting together with Josh) of course I want to marry and have kids later on. I hate this sentiment of if you don't want to marry and have a family, you just haven't found the right guy yet. All in all it was great chemistry and it was the hottest book in the series yet. Their sex scenes were anything but sweet, but greedy little sucker that I am, I devoured them.

Das war so viel besser, als die vorherigen beiden Teile! Vielleicht lag es daran, dass die Reihe auf Englisch besser ist, als auf Deutsch? (Ich hab die ersten beiden Teile auf Deutsch und diesen auf Englisch gelesen.) Oder, dass Josh einfach ein wesentlich besserer mmc ist, als Alex oder Rhys? Egal wie, es war auf jeden Fall fast schon gut!
so first of all I loveeee Jules and Josh so much. I loved their enemy phase and their bickering. And the trope in general was so good. The storyline was also really good and the plottwists were crazy. There was something that I didn’t really like tho… I don’t know if they just…don’t like communicating or something but there were I think two scenes where they could have talked it out but instead started doing yk the nasty. Like talk y’all… However the way their relationship evolved and ended was so cuteeee my single ass felt so lonely… What I liked was how this book also talked about Josh’s struggle from the first book. The story was long because we didn’t only read about Josh and Jules relationship and all that but also about their individual stories and past. When it came to…well the sad part one could understand from where Josh and Jules were coming from. Well all in all i like the book a lot. I’d give it between 4.25 stars and 4.5 stars. I couldn’t decide… Oh and why is Alex wayyyyy better in other books than his own
Jules is such an amazing character, she carried the book! Wished there was more of that hate and that the tension dragged more on but overall it was good because it was also really exciting to read with jules background story ;)
