Beschreibung

How do you punish an immortal?

By making him human.

After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus's favour.

But Apollo has many enemies - gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go . . . an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.

This was a delight to read. Rick Riordan is always my go-to author when I need a book to put me in a good mood. Not only was this action-packed but also full of lovable yet flawed characters one cannot help but love instantly. I noticed, however, that this continues the Heroes of Olympus series, so before continuing on with the Trials of Apollo, I should probably read that series. Still, a delightful read, and a definite recommendation!

Habs geliebt!

Back in my comfort Universe. It just feels like home. I love the idea of the new books and enjoyed Apollo a lot. However most of the time the story seems a little rushed to me. Excited what the next books are going to bring.

Besides that gibts nichts auszusetzen

this book was perfect apollo's voice is the best so funny i'm dead . . . (that was a bad haiku but it's supposed to be bad right)

I don't have to discribe how much I loved this book, right? I mean, it's a Rick Riordan book, they're always good. At least, I don't like Meg anymore. I don't like Apollo that much either but what she did was awful.
