A terrific and slightly terrifying read. Steven Kotler does a tremendous job in showing how technological progress has brought us to the door of the future and how that technology came to be. However I'm a bit confused as to how these scientific achievements were categorized by Kotler. Why, for example, was an article dealing mostly with steroids dumped into the category "the future uncertain" instead of "the future in here", a category that deals with how technological advances reshape physiological possibilities? Also I kinda miss some structure. The book somehow reads like a bunch of scientific articles lumped together. A bunch of comprehensive, entertaining and eye-opening articles, though.
