I was very captivated by this multi-faceted book. Throne of Glass is the story of a young woman who is to become the king's champion. After her past as a assassin and after being imprisoned for her crimes, she was offered a way out by the crown prince. In order to fight for her freedom, she takes part in the royal competition. On her way to becoming the victor, she must face several test and defend herself against a number of dangers. At first it took me a while not to get confused by the different points of view and all the names. The chapters where you read Celaena's dreams were particularly confusing at the beginning. Throne of Glass is a mix of relationships built on hate, evolving love, silent understanding and blind trust. Who can you actually trust without having a knife stuck in your back at some point? Towards the end, it's just a pure game of lies and intrigue. Which is why I can highly recommend Throne of Glass to all "Game of Thrones" and "The Hunger Game" fans. The chapters are very pleasant to read in terms of length. Once you start reading, it's hard to stop. ________Spoiler________ Throne of Glass is made up of so many friendships. My favorite: 𝒞𝒽𝒶ℴ𝓁 and 𝒞ℯ𝓁𝒶ℯ𝓃𝒶. From the very beginning, there is an interplay of lies and trust, romance and loathing, friendship and teasing between the two. Towards the end of the book, the two feel more for each other. Another important friendship is that between 𝒞ℯ𝓁𝒶ℯ𝓃𝒶 and 𝒩ℯ𝒽ℯ𝓂𝒾𝒶. The two women get on very well with each other straight away and quickly become best friends. Although they both have secrets from each other, the two have a true friendship. Nehemia does not take center stage, even though she is the princess of Eyllwe. I find the relationship between 𝒟ℴ𝓇𝒾𝒶𝓃 and 𝒞𝒽𝒶ℴ𝓁 difficult. In contrast to Nehmia, Crown Prince Dorian represents the difference in power between him and his friend. Nevertheless, there were always situations in which you realized that the two young men have been friends since childhood and act almost like brothers. Chaol and Dorian are very different in type, but they have both fallen in love with an assassin. …Who can't quite decide between the two of them.

You could rattle the stars. You could do anything, if you only dared.🌌 Genau das, was ich gesucht habe!🥹 außer die Männer, die haben mich noch nicht so.

Sehr sehr gut

Klasse World Bulding, wahnsinnig interessante, tiefgründige, vielseitige Charaktere zum lieben. Ganz klassen. Ich schieb jetzt irgendwas locker leichtes dazwischen und fang dann direkt Crown of Midnight an! Klare Fantasy Empfehlungen

I love it! And it is definitely one of the best books I am going to read this year! I read it in six days and would probably have finished it even quicker if I hadn't been at school. It was so good that I kept thinking about it during class and wanted to keep reading. As the cover says, fans of Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games will love this book The reason I didn't give this book five stars is because I know the next books in the series will be better and I wanted to leave a little room for improvement Celaena is the book character I've been able to identify with the most so far (apart from the fact that she's an assassin, but apart from that), I love her character and her humour. Just like with Nehemiah! With ACOTAR, I had the problem that I didn't like Feyre at all at the beginning. I liked Nesta much better. But I've loved Celaena since the first page. !SPOILER! I find it really annoying that Dorian and Chal are so obviously in love with Celaena and chasing after her, but I would probably do that too, so I guess I can't blame them Still, I think the friendship between Dorian and Celeana is actually so sweet and I don't want more to happen

Ahhhhh. Sooooo good

4.5 because I know this Series keeps getting better. And I can‘t rate them all 5 out of 5 Stars. I am speechless. Rereading this Series was the best descision of my life. The Details I missed the First Time. Amazing book and start into this unforgettable world.

Not an amazing but still an interesting start to the series. However that's all one should expect since it felt a lot like this book was just the beginning of a much bigger story. I also liked the writing of the love triangle. It was rather implicit at first which was kinda nice.
