Sehr guter Start der Geschichte. Und auch mittendrin wirklich gut gelungen. Finde aber das letzte Drittel echt verdammt langatmig und gähnend, die Protagonistin nervt mit ihrer Art und ihren Gedanken. Die letzten 5 Seiten sind dann wieder echt gut, kurzum: das Buch wäre auch mit halb so viele Seiten gut gewesen! wahrscheinlich noch besser.
2.5/5.0 Unfortunately this book couldn't live up to my expectations. I expected a cheesy love story a la PS I love you but instead I got an annoying protagonist, a shallow love story and no emotions at all. The death of Simon right at the beginning of this book left me absolutely cold. No tears, no emotions...just a fact. Most developments were totally predictable and didn't surprise me at all. The chemistry between Orla and Marek was non-existent to me. I had some difficulties with the writing in general as it had many unfamiliar words to me as a non-native speaker. Additionally it was absolutely lacking in emotions. Over all, I am very disappointed by this book, though I have read many negative reviews before I had some hopes that I would like it better. The best about this book: the cover. I love cheesy, pink glitter covers.
