Ich würde den Hauptcharakter, TJ, dieses Buches als Pechvogel bezeichnen. Er hat sich durch seinen Alkoholismus und die damit einhergehende Gefängnisstrafe in die Enge getrieben, vor allem bei seiner Familie. Nun ist er schon fast zwei Jahre trocken und seine Familie denkt bei jedem schlechten Tag seinerseits, er wäre rückfällig geworden. Dabei setzt sein Bruder dem Ganzen die Krone auf, indem er allen gegenüber behauptet, TJ hätte einen Rückfall gehabt. Dabei hat sein vom Pech verfolgter Bruder ihm selbst aus der Patsche geholfen. Er geht sogar soweit TJ einen Mord anzuhängen. Mich hat die ganze Familienkonstruktion teilweise so auf die Palme gebracht, dass ich ne Lesepause einlegen musste. Die Autorin hat mich somit voll abgeholt. Spoiler!!! Am Ende bringt dem vom Pech verfolgten TJ sein Pech, für sich und seine Familie, aber richtiges Glück! Spoiler Ende!! Hat mich sehr gut unterhalten. Der Titel ist im Deutschen noch nicht erschienen.
