Super Schreibstil! Ich musste lachen, weinen, es war einfach total erfrischend. Leider fand ich das Buch zu lange, in der Mitte hat es sich total gezogen, deshalb 1 Stern Abzug 🥰

Das Buch bzw. die Reihe habe ich zufällig bei Kindle Unlimited entdeckt und die Geschichte hat mich sehr gut unterhalten können. Einen erwartet eine klassische Billionaire Romance mit kleinen Spannungselementen, welche die Story gut vorantreiben. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack war die Dynamik zwischen den Protagonisten an vielen Stellen zu ungesund und mich hat die Kommunikation zwischen den beiden genervt. Trotzdem konnte das Buch mich neugierig machen, sodass ich die Reihe weiter verfolgen werde.

i liked this book alot but for me it was too long. the relationship between them is soo toxic but after it got to the end they were trying their best for the relationship not to be toxic. 4 ⭐️

If I have to see the words 'God’s gift to woman' and 'slow sexy smile' one more time I’m gonna loose it. This was an thoroughly enjoyable and sexy read but won’t become any of my favorite rom coms despite it actually checking all my boxes. Generally the story line and characters where enjoyable and well done. The writing too was good. Like I said an enjoyable rom com about a hot CEO and his employee whom he met on a flight. They have a one night stand. Both can’t forget the other. They meet again - but suddenly he is her boss. Sounds good? It is. You get what you came for - rom com with witty banter and hot smut and everything rom com stands for. But somehow I did not connect to the characters. Jamesons behavior often annoyed me slightly and their couple dynamic felt off at times. It’s just my feelings - the book itself is decent! Just somehow was not made for me. I personally was also not a fan of the ending. That was somehow….not what I wanted to read. Could have been done a bit more creative and not so much cringe groveling on the male side. Groveling yes. This kind? cringe. Makes the love interest go from hot CEO to annoying toddler who wants sweets but doesn’t get them. I’m just never a fan of this type of ending. But maybe others will enjoy it. And I have to say I really did not enjoy the formatting. Why where all his povs printed in bold? That was annoying for me to read. And the female narrator also was slightly annoying - to loud and shrill for my taste. Maybe that’s why I couldn’t connect to the characters? I realize I mostly said bad things about this now. The thing is - it’s not bad. There are off-putting aspects for me personally but it’s mostly personal preferences for certain things. Not necessarily bad things in general. The book was not extraordinary or super unique but still was an enjoyable read for me. Perfect to listen to whilst doing other stuff or read as a light entertainment. 3

Ok after the 10th useless argument I just had to stop. Why people? The FMC is also really annoying in my opinion… she is just too much of the “not like other girls” type.

Bei 77% abgebrochen. Charaktere unerträglich anstrengend, voller Stimmungsschwankungen, ungerechtfertigten Wutausbrüchen, toxisch und bei jeder Kleinigkeit auf 180. Grade wenn man denkt es geht bergauf mit der Story kommt das nächste Schlagloch und Drama

I was fully prepared to hate him but surprisingly I didn’t. I actually got pretty invested in their love story. I usually think that the boss employee relationship brings a type of power to one person in the couple that I really hate. But here it was not like this. This was on its way to be a Highlight read but then he ruined it in the end. He did not deserve that she forgave him just like that. Just no.
