Description

From Kristen Ciccarelli, New York Times bestselling author of the Crimson Month duology (The Heartless Hunter and Rebel Witch), comes the final companion novel to The Last Namsara, which Tomi Adeyemi, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Children of Blood and Bone, calls “one of my favorite books of all time.”
At the end of one world, there always lies another. Safire, a soldier, knows her role in this world is to serve the king of Firgaard—helping to maintain the peace in her oft-troubled nation.
Eris, a deadly pirate, has no such conviction. Known as the Death Dancer for her ability to evade even the most determined of pursuers, she possesses a superhuman power to move between worlds.
Now Safire and Eris—sworn enemies—find themselves on a common mission: to find Asha, the last Namsara. From the port city of Darmoor to the fabled faraway Star Isles, their search and their stories become woven ever more tightly together as they discover that the uncertain fate they’re hurtling toward just may be a shared one. In this world—and the next.

Gelungener Abschluss der Reihe. Die beiden Hauptfiguren sind interessant & haben Feuer. Diesmal ein lesbisches Paar im Fokus, gefällt mir.

I’ve been wanting to write a review for this book so I’m finally doing that now lol. I absolutely ADORED this book. Even though I read it in January and now a bit over two months later it’s still really fresh in my memory, almost as if I had finished it only a few days ago. Although it had been quite some time since I’ve read the first two books I didn’t find it hard to get back into this world. I’m in love with the magical / fantastical elements - especially these chapters where the author writes about the mythology of this world - and with the world being created throughout this trilogy. Each character is so unique and the cast of characters we have here is diverse and very vividly imaginable. The romance between our main character, Eris, and another character was slowly developing which wasn’t hurting the pace of the book in any way. I was cheering for them all the time and been anticipating their kiss haha. The plot was so very intriguing that I couldn’t put the book down, I was pretty much glued to the pages! Easily a 5 stars read for me! <3
