Spannend. Viele Wendungen.

It was fantastic. Whilst reading it was incredibly thrilling, there were sad moments, where I felt for the characters, as well. It was very well constructed and written in my opinion. There are multiple layers, from the suspense, the surprise, to the tragic. I really enjoyed it, and read it in 3 days, although it would almost have been 2. I didn't even feel like I read that much, because I was so captured in the story. And once I was finished, and lay in bed, I realised the sadness under the tension and the thrill. It's simply a fantastic book in my opinion. It makes you realise how many lives can be ruined through one action. I absolutely loved it, and can't recommend it enough.

I REALLY enjoyed this! After not caring for The Whisper Man all that much I was hesitant to pick this one up, but when my librarian showed me that they had this book I thought I'd give it a go. And man am I glad I did because this was great. There were many scenes that send chills down my spine, just the way it should be in a thriller. some of the plot twists hit me like a bus, which is very rare for me since I usually can see them coming before they happen. I was all the more surprised when they happened and I had no idea. I feel like the author does a good job of telling the story in a way that makes you, the reader, think that you have it all figured out, but in fact, you really don't.
