3.75* If I would rate this solely on the romance part this would be a 3 star book at best for me. I liked the characters on their own but the romance itself fell very flat for me. I didn't mind it but it felt very rushed and was much more interested in what they were up to at work. However, I very much enjoyed the Paranormal Criminal Investigation part of this story. Overall the whole murder case kept me very engaged and I liked reading about it. Shinji's part was super interesting and I hope the next book will have more of this! The setting itself was also very nice and played a part in my enjoyment.
