Oh my gosh, I read that book in two days as a slow reader because the story is just sweet and beautiful. There are a few spicy scenes but mostly, it’s focused on romance. I love Lyla and Barrett’s dynamic, how they met and even how good he was at telling when she simply lied? Kind of a Love at First Sight thing but that’s fine for just 240 pages. Definitely one of my favorite Late Summer reads and I might have smiled too much at the end when their little white lies became true!
