The Other Side Of Gravity (The Oxygen Series, Band 1)

Thanks to netgalley and Red Coat PR for the digital reading copy in exchange for an honest review. First of all, the cover is simply amazing. I love how the title matches the cover. The premise sounded equally great but unfortunately the book couldn't live up to my expectations. The book started really interesting and I was really enjoying the story but then the story was stuck. There wasn't much happening and once some tension was building and it was dropped again real fast. The story pace was really slow and I had the feeling the characters were mostly talking about nonsense, at least it didn't get the story anywhere. I couldn't see a central theme in the story and had the feeling that the author didn't know either where the story should lead. I really liked the world and found the planet very interesting. There was some information once in a while about it but I was hoping for some more world-building. Unfortunately, the story didn't grab me enough to continue this series.
