SPOILERS FOR SEASON 12 OF DOCTOR WHO! So, since Jack is back, I had to get this box sets. My mind was completely made up, when I learned that in the next series he’s going to meet River Song. How epic is that going to be?! The first story was great. I really liked the vulnerable Jack. It showed a different side and how he was so confused after being brought back and left alone on the Space Station. The second story was a bit confusing although I loved the banter between Jackie and Jack. I never really liked Rose but her mum was always hilarious. The whole story with the fog and the disappearing people was strange and I didn’t get the solution but it was fun to listen to. I want more of this team! In the third sorry Jack meets Alonso set up by the Doctor. Those two hit it off and you just want them to have their happy ending but alas, no such luck. An exploding space station, a big disgusting bug queen and a giant diamond power generator keep getting in their way. One can only hope that at one point they get their happy ending (in both senses of the word
