"The Life Intended" is my personal surprise in 2019. Starting off with a super-romantic couple-scene with me hating every bit of it (sorry, not sorry), this book turned out to be just the right novel when in desperate need of a study break (repeat after me: law is SO. MUCH. FUN!). Because after the said super-duper-romantic couple-scene, things go downhill for quite a bit. And even though I had a hard time liking our main heroine (I actually kind of thought she might be a Mary Sue at some point while reading), I really missed her after finishing this book. You know, it's not the best novel in the world. It has it's flaws, it's not the most original story to begin with. But it kinda left a cozy feeling in me and I actually enjoyed reading this book so, so much that I was really sad when it was over.
