Das war ein schönes Buch, wenn auch nicht immer leicht, da hier das Thema Demenz recht präsent ist. Sampson hat das allerdings sehr schön eingearbeitet, sodass es irgendwie locker flockig blieb. Libby war eine sympathische Protagonistin, wenn ich auch sagen muss, dass sie mir teilweise zu sehr ins Selbstmitleid abgerutscht ist. Frank war mein Liebling in der Story. Seine Geschichte ist so herzerwärmend und ich habe mir nichts sehnlicher gewünscht, als dass er die Frau findet 🥹 Ob er es geschafft hat? Dazu müsst ihr das Buch lesen 🤭 Die Handlung war insgesamt gut, allerdings gab es für mich ein paar Längen, wo es gerne etwas knapper hätte sein dürfen.
