Schön für zwischendurch, genau was man erwartet, aber leider auch nicht mehr.
Ein gutes Buch, allerdings hat es mich nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Positiv ist der einfache Schreibstil, ein paar gute Plottwists und die Enemies to Lovers Story beginnt recht schön. 🐦🐍 Ich hatte einige Déjà-vu Momente und somit das Gefühl, die Geschichte schon einmal gelesen zu haben. Es hatte Elemente aus Acator, Daughter of the Pirate King und A touch of darkness (Hades and Persephone). Manches hat für mich auch nicht ganz so viel Sinn gemacht und leider konnte ich mit den Charakteren nicht ganz so warm werden. Wem allerdings die Mischung aus den oben genannten Büchern gut gefällt, ist bestens bedient!

It fit so well, it didn't come so clumsy and out of nowhere, here it somehow fit that he called her that.🫶 Erik Bloodsinger is jealous, morally very dark and I love him. And Livia? She is strong, compassionate and I loved the scene when she stands up for Erik, when no one else does❤️ With most enemies-to-lover stories, it gets boring from where the couple comes together. This was not the case here. Because Erik still acts brutally, not to Livia but on her behalf. And that's what I love so much about the book. It was exciting throughout, you learn a lot about the background and the cliffhanger is bad, which is why I'm glad to be able to continue reading😍
Für Fans von Piraten, Fantasy und enemies to lovers definitiv eine gute Empfehlung… das Buch ist im großen und ganzen ziemlich interessant und hat nur wenige Kapitel die verhältnismäßig eher langweilig sind. Ein Minuspunkt wäre allerdings, dass der Verlauf der Romance recht vorhersehbar und damit wenig ungewöhnlich ist, aber trotzdem auf jeden Fall ein gutes Buch.

I dont have time to write a full review, I'm going to read the second book now. All I can say is that I don't regret picking up this book whatsoever. One of my new favorites! Its insane!!! The stroyline and plot overall, the characters, the commitment and loyalty of some characters, it really feels like a pirate tale. It actually beat One Piece.

Oh, war das gut! Auf der Suche nach ein bisschen Piratenabenteuer mit fantasy setting? There you go! Ich hab die ganze Zeit starke William Turner und Elizabeth Vibes gespürt ... aber Will ist hier Kapitän der Flying Dutchmen und nicht mehr der gutgläubige Good Guy aus Teil 1. Die ganze Zeit über konnte ich das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen und habe jede Seite verschlungen. Werde die Serie definitiv weiterlesen und spreche eine große Empfehlung aus! Übrigens: macht euch während dem Lesen Privates of the Caribbean ambiences auf YouTube an. Soooo, soooo gut ❤️

Enjoyed every second of this. Erik is a perfect shadow daddy and Livie is growing with every page. Absolutely adorable Tropes: enemies to lovers, fated mates, fae, sea monsters, broken MC, found family
Nothing left to say. 10/10 I'm right off to the next book! It's spicy, it's fun, it's loveable characters - it's just perfect.
