This book was interesting. I don’t really know what to say except I was pleasantly surprised at the end of the book. I still really liked it and the magic as well.
I just expected more...
First of all, the book started great, I liked Willow as a character very much and also her cheeky nature. She seemed smart and so you were also tempted to think that she has the upper hand over Grey. I also found Grey quite exciting from the beginning. But unfortunately, both characters became increasingly pale over the course of the book and, in my opinion, also uninteresting. I found a lot predictable and from where she was at the academy, I unfortunately found it boring and hardly anything happened that contributed to the story. I just expected more.. More depth in the characters, more tension and a great plot twist. The book started really great and exciting and I was very interested in how it all develops. I found the ending very similar to Kingdom of the Wicked, only that Wrath is hotter than Grey🤌🏻😂 I thought it was a shame that Willow went from a strong character to a pale, naive character. Let's see if I want to read volume 2 at all🙈 I just lacked that certain kick.
