I read this whole series when I was thirteen years old and while I was left absolutely depressed after each book I just had to finish it. It's such an addicting read and strangely realistic and fantastical/absurd at the same time. The things those poor kids had to go through! I do recommend this series if you're into dystopian fiction but if you're looking for a light and easy read I'm afraid these books aren't for you.
