Interesting world building, but I couldn't find any plot and no connection to the fairytale it was supposed to be retelling. I would, however, like to read a novel or novella set in this world. (Especially to find out, how the hell people can live this way without going mad. Being neurodiverse and not having (enough) filters for stimuli, I cannot imagine myself surviving in a world like this for more than a few years.)
