A captivating story without a good beginning nor ending.

The three siblings Violet, Klaus and Sunny Become orphans when their parents die in a terrible fire. Without any personal belongings they are taken in by Count Olaf a malicious man who is after the fortune of the Baudelaire children. Neither friendly neighbors nor motivated bankers look through Olaf's plans or listen to the discovery’s of the siblings. The first part of a tragic thirteen part story.

i cant believe this series is for children! i liked the writing and i liked the three children but what i didnt like was the things that happened. it's so sad to see such many really really bad things happen to children and to see adults who dont believe children even though they see things as they are. im definitley not going to read the second book, but i will watch the netflix series
