I find the ending... Not quite what I hoped. Neither canonical stuff as Seven joining the Fenris Rangers, nor extended universe book details like J/C and B'Elanna going on a spirit trip, Chakotay becoming Captain and so on are seen as reality in this biography. In fact, there's not a single mention of J/C, although it WAS canon that there had been feelings even if Janeway never acted upon them during their time on Voyager. So, this was a bit of a disappointment, as one would assume that Trek writers are at least bound to what has been established, now, that they don't make complete stand-alone novels any longer but focus on an extended universe where you even have to cross sub-series to actually follow the plot. (Which is annoying and I hate it, but now they force that upon us and still can't get rid of the lacks of continuity?!) Apart from that, though, the book was fun and Kate Mulgrew is a great narrator.
