3.5 Sterne - da ich gegen Ende doch ein wenig mit den Geschehnissen versöhnt wurde. Bei diesem Buch habe ich lange gebraucht, bis ich mir irgendwie eine Meinung bilden konnte. Der Anfang war eigentlich ganz ok. Bis sich die Protagonistin auf den Weg machte, einen Drachen zu stehlen. Äh ja... dachte ich mir. Klar. Irgendwie völlig unlogisch, wenn jemand offensichtlich absolut keinen Plan von der Welt um sie herum und schon gar nicht über Drachen hat; vor allem die Art und Weise, wie sie den Drachen stehlen und auch damit umgehen wollte. Die Autorin machte es sich recht einfach, indem die ganze Geschichte aus der Ich-Perspektive erzählt wird. Wordbuilding und sonstige Geschehnisse werden somit recht oberflächlich abgehandelt und beschränkt sich auf das, was die Protagonistin erzählt und erlebt. Eigentlich kommt man ganz gut in die Geschichte rein. Die Protagonistin und sonstige Charaktere sind ok, wobei ich nie so richtig mit ihnen warm wurde. Es gab ein paar nette Twists und Wendungen, aber ansonsten gab es wenig überraschendes. Die Geschichte und das Lesen empfand ich deswegen als "leichte Kost für zwischendurch". Ganz nett zu lesen und macht neugierig auf die Fortsetzung. Ach, fast hätte ich es vergessen... ein riesen Plus: Drachen :)
