My heart hurts right now. Rebeka broke it and put it back together with this book. I loved the cultural topics of this book. The finding yourself and dealing with grief. The chapters are super short, so this one is perfect for when you need something different in between.
A story about grief, family, and the unexpected turns life can take. A story of first love. Noori has it all sussed out. She may only be sixteen and a Bollywood fanatic with an incredible lack of foresight, but she knows a thing or two about life and its messy heartaches.
okay so, i liked this book. I’m writing this after I finished it and there’s so many things going on in my head LMAO. The concept was nice how she showed the "progress" each day. It was very representative which I found very nice especially because I’m not really "educated" if ykwim like I still didn’t completely understand what this whole "Rumi" thing was. But I still enjoyed this book (: . I pretty much liked the chemistry between them BUT THE END MAN. I didn’t expect that AT ALL ykwim like it was also so unexpected. I was crying sm bro, idk why maybe because my period should start soon or because it’s the evening ykyk so yeahhh. But the end really broke me bro I thought he was gonna die but the end made me so happy (': . so yeahhh
