A while ago, I fell in love with Staci Hart’s books and especially the Blum‘s Bees Series, and as the final part dropped, I was thrilled to get my hands on a copy. ⠀ B L U R B Run For Your Honey is a second chance, enemies to lovers story that’s easily bingeable on the weekend. What is it about? Poppy and Duke have a long history. Twelve years ago, he left their small town to study law and achieve his dreams. Only Duke never returned, and their relationship ended somewhat in a mess. Now he’s back in town running for mayor alongside Poppy, more intriguing than ever. Their past couldn’t have created a more loaded atmosphere. But twelve years ago, things were left unsaid, and clearly, there’s still some chemistry left that finds its way to the surface. If Poppy wins, Duke leaves. If he wins, she loses. And either way, it’ll surely end in another heartbreak.⠀ ⠀ R E V I E W⠀ Recommending books to others is tricky, as everyone likes different things and the same book might not be it for someone else. But what I love about Hart’s books, first and foremost, is the engaging and pleasant writing style. When reading academic text over academic text, you need something to cleanse your palette. And the Blum‘s Bees Series does this in the best way. Just for a couple of hours, I can read an exciting story with fun characters (most of which, in this case, have already grown on me) and completely engage myself in its pages. Whenever I pick up a Staci Hart novel, I fall in love with the characters. Sure, sometimes you can guess where the plot’s headed, but to read about Poppy and Duke’s relationship and past was so interesting that I couldn’t put the book down. You can cheer for them and still have a nice and comforting reading experience. As in the past, I always recommend Hart’s books to people. So if you think this might be your cup of tea, check it out on Kindle Unlimited. (4.5/5)
