A bad boy wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk…
Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction.
A one-night stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be…
Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…

During the summer I came to love Rockstar romances, this is the main reason why I picked up Singh's Rock Addiction and had really high hopes for it. I couldn't be more disappointed. The book is starting with a complete insta-lust. I normally don't have a problem with it if it is done well here. Unfortunately it isn't done well at all here. There is absolutely no chemistry between Fox and Molly and seriously which virgin takes a rockstar home after 10 minutes of talking. That's the first point that really annoyed me. Then there were several moments where the "relationship" between them reached a point that really crossed a line. It was close to abusive and even rape which the female protagnist excuses with "anger passion". This made me furious and close to throw the book away. Fox lost my sympathies really early and his over-protectiveness and sick possesion didn't make it better throughout the book. It did have some nice moments, also the sex scenes could have been quite appealing but when I can't connect with a couple even the best sex can't touch me. There were also several scenes which were pretty ridiculous and not very logical. The tattoo and the proposal in the end made me wince instead of sighing.
"You're like the perfect song and I knew that the first night we spent together." I'v had this book on my radar for quite a while before actually getting my hands on it. I like a rockstar romance every once in a while but they all have to measure up to the Mayhem series by Jamie Shaw. This one didn't but I still liked it. Molly and Fox do have their problems but they're trying to work on them - sometimes by having sex but not always. But it's all going too fast for me. Instalove all the way. The writing style was okay, good even. What really threw me off was the pov changes. I often had to reread whole paragraphes because I could not follow who was narrating.
