Diese Buchreihe ist einfach die beste. Ich kann es garnicht anders beschreiben. Dieses Buch war zwar nicht mein Liebling aus der Reihe weil es insbesonders um ein bestimmtes Thema ging aber ansonsten kann ich es wirklich nur jedem empfehlen. Für mich 4.75 ⭐️!!!!! Liebs einfach 🥹

Meine absolute lieblingsreihe. Ich liebe es . Wie es geschrieben ist. Wie echt es ist. Wer die Boys of tommen Reihe noch nicht angefangen hat, verpasst auf jeden fall etwas.

This book has a trope in it I don‘t like, and still I ended up loving it (though due to said trope, I would always put B13 and K13 first) – I guess that‘s the Boys of Tommen phenomenon. And I eat it up – this book series is amazing, an instant favourite on my top list. Although I already loved Saving 6, having all my favourite characters from Binding and Keeping 13 return, makes Redeeming 6 even better. I loved the early stages of Joeys and Aoifes relationship, and meeting the people they care for outside of the Tommen bubble. But having the Kavanaghs, Gibsie, Claire, Lizzie, Hughie and Feely back in the picture? That makes me so incredibly happy. They feel like my own big book family, and I won‘t trade them for the world, because they are (for me) the best found family there is. I really feel like I know all of them, and I also care for all of them, even those I actually did not know that well. "Come back to me, Joey," I whispered, reaching out to stroke his bruised cheek. "I know you're still in there." Their chemistry is something else. I'm not gonna lie, the relationship of these two has had, at least at times, toxic or rather co-dependend tendencies. But every Aoife&Joey scene gives me all the feels, and the way they help each other to get healthy just proves in my opinion that in the end they are everything but toxic for each other. JOEY the hurler The character development Joey has been through is just wow😱 He felt so raw and real. His struggle isn‘t extenuated, it‘s not like he just stops taking drugs and stays away from them. He knows better and still continues because he can’t stop, and I could feel with him, could understand his struggle and the pressure he is under. His whole journey is so damn well written…I love all about it, I love that it‘s so detailed and though I‘m sure some will argue the book is too long, in my opinion it had to be this way🫶 And because I'll always call a book out on its bullsh*t eventhough I still love it: "Everyone is looking at Shannon and I get it, I do, but what about Joey?" Probably my most hated scene in this book. No one downplays the trauma of my girl. Not even, Aoife. I get that she is Joeys nr. 1 defender, but that's just a big fat NO. GERARD "GIBSIE" GIBSON "I've got your back, Mrs. Joey the hurler." I mean, we all love Gibsie for being a sunshine boy - I do as well - but experiencing that their is a more ernest side of him, and how he has the back of a girl he barely knew at the time? bookboyfriend, this guy, a veeeery decent (more than decent to be honest) bookboyfriend. Love him! (He, Lizzie and Shannon, those are my TOP 3, in case you are wondering) LIZZIE YOUNG – my queen "I won't let you do it to Shannon." "Do what?" "Turn her into me." I‘ll literally scream if the next book isn‘t about Lizzie. I NEED her story. She already has some amazing scenes in Redeeming 6 that kind of forshadow her story. She has all the right tools to blow my mind and become my absolute favourite character of this series (next to Shannon of course) EDEL KAVANAGH - she is a queen too "Shake my hand, love," she instructed. "It's good manners." Johnnys mother is just amazing. One of my favourite characters actually. Every scene with her, especially how she cares for Joey, has a special place in my heart🫶 That has been the case in Binding and Keeping 13, and it is in Redeeming 6 as well. There‘s the very likely (the author said it herself) possibility that there will be a book about Edel and John…and I‘m so here for that🙏 JOHNNY AND SHANNON <3 "Don't let her down." Steadying my body from swaying, I looked him in the eyes and said, "Whatever you're doing here, Kavanagh, don't f*ck my sister over." (...) With eyes full of unrestrained emotion, and his tone thick with gritty sincerity, he looked me dead in the eyes and vowed, "I won't." Every scene with them – epic! They are meant to be. I think there is nothing else to be said, is there? These two are PERFECTION and I want to reread their story right away because I already miss them so damn much! SHANNON LYNCH – my one and only, love her, adore her, she is the best!❤️ It‘s kind of sad (though I understand why) that there‘s so much Joey doesn‘t tell her. I feel like Joey wants to protect her from his harsh reality (and once again, I get why), but he seems to forget (or not see?) how damn strong this girl is. Every scene she is a part of is a banger, even the sad and painful ones. And the Epilog from her PoV is the icing on the cake – just perfect! " Joey had been through so much that there was a point in time where I thought we might not get him back. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, my brother was reborn (...)" 5+/5⭐️

Okay first things first, I loveeee joey and aoife. BUT I didn’t know that this was a unplanned pregnancy book and I don’t really like it. It’s just ahh I have so many mixed feelings w this. Idk but I was kinda off that it was the same time line w b13 so we just had the same events but from a new perspective. Also WHY were there comparisons of Joey and Shans traumas ? They were BOTH abused and BOTH suffered. I’m not going to let the negative parts overrule bc I still adore this book with my heart. The ClaireGibsie parts, and Gibsie helping Aoife was so pure to see. I love them sm

Ich liebe beide, aber ich habe zwischendurch so mit mir gerungen, weil es echt keine leichte Kost ist- ganz im Gegenteil sogar. Das muss man wissen und aus diesem Grund musste ich das Buch auch immer wieder weg legen.

This series has my whole heart. 1066 pages of pain and heartbreak. I loved every second of it!
