Sehr lang aber gut
Nun habe ich auch das dritte Buch beendet, dieser Reihe. Es war ein wildes und spannendes Ende dieses Abenteuers rund um die Blackthorns. Endlich wurden all meine Fragen beantwortet. Enttäuscht wurde ich, mit Kit und Ty, vielleicht kommt da ja noch was in anderen Büchern. Ich hoffe es. Die Konstellation mit Christina, Mark und Kieran war ziemlich interessant zu beobachten und wie es am Ende ausgeht. Alec und Magnus.. muss ich dazu was sagen? Einfach göttlich. Emma und Julian.. einfach wunderbar.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Eine weitere Aufgabe, die ich mir dieses Jahr gestellt habe, ist es angefangene Reihen zu beenden. Ich kann auch überhaupt nicht sagen, warum ich diese Reihe nicht beendet hab 🤷🏼♀️ Ich liebe die Welt der Schattenjäger 🥰 Es war schön, dass in diesem Band die Verstrickungen mit den Protagonisten aus die Chroniken der Unterwelt, sehr stark war. Auch dass jeder seiner Liebe nachgehen konnte, wie und in welcher Form auch immer, fand ich sehr schön 🥰.

Das Hörbuch an sich war gut, allerdings habe ich es über einen so langen Zeitraum gehört, dass ich das Interesse einfach verloren habe. Vor allem, da die Zeit so viel passiert ist, dass ich einfach nicht mehr hinterher gekommen bin bzw. nicht mehr in die Story reingefunden habe.
Was für ein mega tolles Finale...ich hatte es am Anfang etwas schwer wieder in die Story rein zukommen,Teil zwei lag aber auch schon länger zurück.Das erste Drittel war etwas zäh,aber dann hatte mich die Welt der Schattenjäger endlich zurück.Es war toll mit alten und neuen Freunden wieder zusammen für in den Kampf zu ziehen.Hat mir wieder wirklich gut gefallen.Ich hoffe auf noch mehr Geschichten auf der Schattenjägerwelt.
Ich hatte keinerlei Zweifel an der Tatsache, dass Queen of Air and Darkness gut werden würde! Viel mehr hatte ich Angst vor dem Schmerz, den mir Cassandra Clare regelmäßig zufügt
Ich bin etwas sprachlos. Am Schluss kamen immer wieder unerwartete Wendungen. Cassandra Clare hat großartige Charaktere erschaffen. Ein tolles Universum.
The most prominent feeling I am feeling right now is: Good God, thank heavens this is over. I am torn ... this was the book that put me in a reading slump over a year ago, and it was also the one book that got me out of a reading slump now. I am confusion. On the one hand, I really liked the characters, and I was super invested in the plot after the half-way point, but on the other hand, I just thought the book was too long. There were many scenes which could have been skipped altogether in my opinion; it didn't HAVE TO be a 900-page book. It took me 1 year and 1 month exactly to finish this book, so I think you can tell that it just dragged on too long for my taste. Furthermore, what also made me give this book 4 stars and not 5, was that I felt like there weren't many risks that were taken by the author. In the end, I knew what was going to happen, and how the book would end, and it seemed like the author just decided to go the safe route. I wasn't emotionally invested in the story in the end, and I didn't even cry once, which is very unlike me when reading the conclusion to a series. Nevertheless, I should mention that I love these characters a lot, and a few plot points in the book were super intriguing: for example, the Ash storyline, Malec's wedding, the storyline in Thule, and OF COURSE that we got to see Sebastian Morgenstern again, if only for a very short time. I am glad that I finally got to finish this book because I really enjoyed myself while reading it, but I do not see myself rereading this book anytime soon.
