I really enjoy reading this series and it‘s surprising me every time I pick up another book that it never gets dull. There is always happening something huge I could never guessed and I love how they get back to earlier characters and let them show up again. Book number seven started a bit slow for me because I felt like I missed a few things between book 6 and 7 and needed some time to really flow with the story. I was confused about mentioned storylines I could not really remember and had to get that sorted out before being able to dive in properly. Reading the book was like being with old friends you haven’t seen for a while, catching up on everyone’s situation and just having a good time.

3.75/5 Another weaker entry that had me frustrated at times, however the set up to the final two entries in the series was thoroughly enjoyable despite the rest of the story feeling quite dull and slow. The Laconian Empire might be the most interesting political plot in any of the books so far, and honestly has me excited to continue this. Some things are getting pretty old with this series, but James S.A. Corey added that plot at the time it was needed most. "No, Captain Holden. No sticks," Duarte said. "When you fight gods, you storm heaven." THE EXPANSE: Leviathan Wakes - 4.5/5 Caliban's War - 4/5 Abaddon's Gate - 4.5/5 Cibola Burn - 4.75/5 Nemesis Games - 4/5 Babylon's Ashes - 3.5/5 Persepolis Rising - 3.75/5
