“I think… no matter what universe we land in, we land there together.”
I just couldn't stop reading, I just spent nearly two whole days only reading this book. This story just caught me, I was completely invested. The whole concept of time travel, timelines and parallel universes was so interesting. This love between Nick and Quinn was so unique, such a special kind, they're soulmates, meant to be together in every life, I screamed when they met for the "first time", the whole connection between them wow wow wow, and don't get me started on the banter, the playfullness, the teasing, I adore every scene with them together. They have such a chemistry and tension between them. Only things I can criticise are: The infidelity in the book, but I know it's a very complicated situation here, so I tried to overlook it, because they are just meant to be. And another thing was a small mistake in scientific stuff, in genetics, about the explanation why time travel only works for women, but I try to ignore it, even if it annoyed me. The ending was so sudden and open too, so I'm starting the second book right away. Thank you for this book, Elle!
