Einfach ein perfekter Abschluss dieser Reihe! 🖤
Achtung Spoiler! Ich habe dieses Buch verschlungen. Es war von Anfang bis Ende so spannend. Kapitel 10 und 11 waren absolute Highlights: düster, fesselnd, emotional und stellenweise richtig gruselig. Besonders die Zitate haben Eindruck hinterlassen, allen voran: „Never mock or harm the passionate, for they are the fiercest with their wrath.“ – Victoria Evans Dieses Zitat passt wie die Faust aufs Auge, weil Victoria = Lana. Lana zeigt sich endlich verwundbar – und das auf so eine schöne, intime Weise. Als sie Logan unter Tränen von ihren Eltern erzählt, die früher zusammen getanzt haben, und er sie dann mitten im Schlafzimmer in den Arm nimmt und mit ihr tanzt… Gänsehautmoment. 🥹 Auch Logan bekommt endlich mehr Tiefe. Sein innerer Konflikt ist deutlich spürbar – besonders in Gedanken wie: „My mind is fucked. All she has to do is ask me to join her and I’ll be at her side…” Man merkt, wie sehr ihn das alles mitnimmt, und gleichzeitig wie stark seine Liebe zu Lana ist. Hadley bleibt mein Lieblingsnebencharakter – ihre kleine Storyline mit Jake war einfach herzerwärmend und hat das Ganze wunderbar aufgelockert. Die letzten Kapitel waren ein einziges Auf und Ab, voll Spannung, Emotion und Enthüllungen. Ich hab’s geliebt. Ein starker, emotionaler und runder Abschluss – besser hätte man die Reihe nicht beenden können. Ich bin obsessed. 🖤
Es geht blutig und spannend weiter! Eine letzte Wendung die ich absolut nicht hab kommen sehen und ein schrecklich süßes Ende. Ich kann die Reihe sehr empfehlen!!!
The last chapter of Lana and Logan's story was so well executed. This book was heavy on horror and tension, it was sad and heartbreaking and the ending was very rewarding. The final twist where the original serial killer that started everything was so well executed. I hadn't seen it coming.

Paint It All Red ist der absolute Höhepunkt – brutal, emotional und durch und durch moralisch verdreht. Alles spitzt sich zu, nichts bleibt unausgesprochen, und Lana zieht gnadenlos durch. Ihre Rache erreicht ein Level, bei dem einem der Atem stockt. Währenddessen steht Logan zwischen Pflicht und Gefühl, zwischen Gesetz und Gerechtigkeit. Und dieser innere Konflikt. Was diese Reihe für mich so besonders macht: Sie zwingt dich, dich selbst zu hinterfragen. Du willst kein Happy End für einen Serienkiller – und trotzdem… willst du es. Für sie. Weil du weißt, was ihr angetan wurde. Und weil du sie verstehst. Und genau das ist der Mindfuck, den der Titel verspricht. Diese Reihe hat mich komplett mitgenommen. Sie ist verstörend, emotional und so fesselnd, dass man nicht aufhören kann, selbst wenn man will. Ein krasser Abschluss – und eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Dark Romance mit echtem Tiefgang suchen.
The last book drew the whole story together and made the big picture make sense. Overall a five star series for me, I read every book quick and it kept me entertained the whole time

My heart aches for what Lana, her brother and father had to endure. This town and their people were really cruel, but i loved what she and Jake achieved with their vengeance. Lana is totally a badass and love her for that Would have never guessed that plot in the end! Totally thrilling and worth reading!
Das sollten unbedingt mehr leute lesen
Omg ich hätte niemals gedacht, dass ich so eine Story brauche, aber jetzt fand ich sie so so so gut und genial. Ich hab die Reihe angefangen, weil ich gehört habe, dass sie spicy ist, aber sie ist so viel mehr. Im letzten Buch war mir der Spice noch nicht mal mehr wirklich wichtig sonder eher alles andere. Schreibstil: Der war echt gut, weil man auch total mit den Charakteren mitfühlen konnte und total in die Story eingetaucht ist. Oft genug hätte ich die Bücher direkt am Stück gelesen. DieCharaktere: Die sind einfach nur super, weil auch total auf ihrer Seite steht und sie versteht. Lana ist so komplex und dennoch liebe ich sie total. Story: Spannend von vorne bis hinten. Es gab immer etwas neues was man wissen wollte oder was einem geheim blieb. Und genug Action war definitiv auch dabei.

Einfach nur WOW! Ich habe alles an diesem Buch geliebt 🤯 Spannend bis zur letzten Seite! Man kann das komplette Buch nicht aus der Hand legen! Ein echtes Meisterwerk an Spannung, Romantik und all den Gefühlen ❣️ Das Gute ist nicht immer gut und das Böse ist nicht immer böse 🖤🤍
Großartiges Ende einer tollen Reihe
Ich kann nicht glauben das die Reihe nun zu Ende ist. Das letzte Buch hat mich komplett umgehauen.

Die komplette Reihe ist einfach nur grandios. Ich hatte mich sehr auf die Story gefreut, ein FBI Agent trifft auf die Serienkillerin die er sucht. Und sie verlieben sich ineinander. Lana Myers ist ein stark geschriebener Charakter. Man sollte nie mit einem Killer sympathisieren, aber bei ihr muss man das. Eine tragische Geschichte in der Vergangenheit hat sie zu dem gemacht was sie nun mal ist. Trotz allem ist sie ein tiefer Charakter mit Charm. Logan Bennett kam einem zunächst wie der typische Agent vor, der für seine Arbeit lebt. Gerne hätte ich noch etwas mehr über seine Vergangenheit erfahren, nichtsdestotrotz ist auch er ein liebenswerter und sympathischer Charakter. Am Ende gibt er für Lana wirklich alles auf. Das Ende war schön und unerwartet. Aber auch die ganze Story bis dahin lies sich gut lesen und hatte einen roten Faden. Grandiose Arbeit dieser Autorin, welche viel zu früh diese Welt verlassen hat. 🖤
Wow, dieser Band hat mich eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt durchleben lassen. 😭 Alle Bücher waren toll, aber dieser Band ist vor Spannung und Emotionen nicht zu übertreffen.
Diese Reihe lässt einen wirklich jegliche Moralvorstellungen hinterfragen 🤯 Ich war selten von einer Reihe so begeistert, verstört und gefesselt zugleich! Definitiv harte Kost, aber wer das abkann und auf der Suche nach einer wirklich anderen (Dark) Romance Story mit Thriller Elementen ist, der sollte diese Reihe lesen!

Ich bin noch total geflasht von allem, die Story rund um Lana und Logan gehört definitiv von jetzt an mit zu meinen absoluten Favoriten! Wie der Name schon sagt - der Mindfuck kommt hier alles andere als zu kurz. 🙈 Allerdings bin ich wirklich traurig darüber das die Autorin inzwischen nicht mehr am Leben ist. 🥺 Ich hätte gerne noch andere Bücher von ihr mit diesem oder einem ähnlichen Vibe gelesen. :(
Puh, was ein Abschluss der Reihe. Schrecklich was diese Stadt getan hat und wie es schon von Anfang an hieß: It will burn und scheiße das hat es. Ich bin froh, dass Logan relativ schnell die Wahrheit erkannt hat und Hadley trotzdem auf der Seite von Lana stand. Womit ich nicht gerechnet habe, war die Kombination aus Jake und Hadley - aber passt perfekt. Absolut geniales Ende.

I cried and laughed while reading this series, it became one of my favorite book series ever… I still can’t get over what Logan did, he should’ve apologized some more, but it is what it is, I guess I LOVED it and I think I’ll never get over it And the Ending was so perfect, Lana and Jake 100% deserved their happy ending
OMG!! I love this book! ❤️ I don’t really know how I could be so happy about murder and how I could completely overthink my sense of morality, but this book made me! 🥴 I was so looking forward to this moment when Lana finally got her revenge for what those people did to her and took from her! I usually never mark things in my books but this time my version is so colourful 😂😂 This book completely shattered me into a thousand pieces. I still have this numb feeling when thinking of it. But yet I still feel for Lana Myers and would be very grateful to hand her a knife. 😈

Die Reihe endet mit einem absoluten 💥Bang💥. Hatte glaube ich selten so Spaß beim lesen einer Buchreihe. Absolut gelungenes Ende. Ich würde nichts ändern. rip S.t. Abby 🕊️
Die Mindfuck Reihe ist nichts für schwache Nerven. Es geht um eine Serien-Killerin die Rache an ihren Peinigern nimmt, die sie und ihre Familie 10 Jahre zuvor zerstört haben. Man erfährt detailliert was passiert und wie sie ihre morde begeht, und die Geschichte fesselt einen von Anfang an, weil man wissen möchte, was geschehen ist. Außerdem ist die Romanze zwischen ihr und einem FBI Agenten genau so spannend wie die Hauptstory an sich
Großes Finale
Der letzte Teil war nicht ganz so stark wie die Vorgänger, aber ein guter Abschluss für die Reihe. Es ist für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu viel passiert bzw. es gab einen Müh zu viel Drama beim „Untergang“ von Delaney Grove.
This book broke my heart in pieces. Had tears in my eyes while Reading the last five or so chapters. This Series was everything I needed to Start the Reading Year. Highly recommend, but Please check the trigger warnings before diving into it. Please remember Reading is subjective.

Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie ich mich fühle…die Reihe ist einfach vorbei😫 Ich hab es wirklich geliebt vom ersten bis zum letzten Teil! Große, große Empfehlung!! (könnt jetzt einfach nur Sätze schreiben, in denen ich schwärme - weil es war einfach TOLL)🥹 V.a. dieser letzte Teil hat mich und meine Gefühle auseinandergenommen! Ich hab eben noch so geweint, weil ich so sad war und im nächsten Moment wieder so happy! Ich werde die Reihe und die Charaktere vermissen - Definitiv eins meiner Top Bücherreihen forever!

Es war so spannend, endlich alle Geheimnisse zu erfahren. Es war auch das erste Mal bei der Reihe, dass ich ein paar Tränen vergossen habe. Einfach perfekt.

Serienm*rder und FBI Agent? Sign me up! Die Geschichte von Lana und Logan ist grandios erzählt. Die Bücher lassen einen jegliche Gefühle verspüren und selbst ich, musste ab und zu tief Luft holen, vorallem bei extrem expliziten Stellen. Mit Lana konnte man eine richtige Verbindung aufbauen und dieses Mädchen hat so viel Leid erfahren, dass man ihre Vorhaben nachvollziehen konnte. Die Beziehung zwischen Logan und Lana war chaotisch, verboten und unglaublich süß. Die beiden haben aneinander gebraucht und haben es auch spüren lassen. Die Bücher trotzen nur von Spannung und verlangen sie weiterzulesen!

Soooo gut!!! So viel Action und Mord und ahhhh. Lana und Jake sind solche Genies und das ist so unfassbar spannend. Ich glaube dieses Buch ist mein fav aus der Reihe. Auch wie alles aufgelöst wurde, war einfach perfekt inszeniert von der Autorin. All in All ne echt gute Reihe! Das als Netflix Serie wäre der Hammer.
DAS ist gutes Dark Romance. DAS ist das Dark Romance, das ich lesen möchte!
Sie - die gebrochene Seele, die in ihrer Vergangenheit unaussprechliches erleben musste. Er - der FBI Agent, der in einem Fall ermittelt und einem Serienmörder nachjagt. Sie - die nur ein Ziel hat: Rache zu üben. Er - der geradewegs dabei ist, sich in sie zu verlieben, ohne zu wissen, dass sie die gesuchte Killerin ist. Die Mindf*ck Series war spannend von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite. Oft hab ich das Gefühl, dass es bei DR nur noch um Spice geht. Plot, where are you? Spice haben wir in diesem Buch auch, aber er steht NICHT im Vordergrund. Man fiebert einfach die ganze Zeit mit, wie er ihr immer mehr auf die Spur kommt, wie immer mehr aufgedeckt wird und was hinter ihren Absichten steckt. Dieses Buch ist eine ganz große Empfehlung an alle, die Dark Romance schon fast aufgegeben haben und auf der Suche nach einem spannenden Buch mit Suchtfaktor sind.

Was für ein geniales Ende. Rache haben die beiden definitiv bekommen. Ich hab es nicht sehen kommen wer der richtiger Mörder war. Ich hab’s geliebt, fantastische Reihe.

10/10. Kommt auf die Liste meiner Lieblingsbücher. Der beste Psychothriller, den ich je gelesen habe. Spice und Romance sind vorhanden, der Psychothriller und die Geschichte stehen jedoch im Vordergrund.👍
Richtig gute Reihe, Ende an sich schlüssig, nur vlt etwas zu unrealistisch. War trotzdem ein wilder Ritt durch diese Reihe und hab jedes Buch sehr enjoyed!

Ein besseres Ende hätte es nicht geben können. Auch die Wendung zum Schluss, als der ursprüngliche Mörder Preis gegeben wurde, habe ich absolut nicht vorhersehen können. Alles zusammen mit die Beste Reihe, die ich bisher gelesen habe.
Die ganze Reihe war eine 5/5 Star experience. Ich hab’s so geliebt !

I basically saw the ending to this series coming from the first book on, but that did not make it any less satisfying than it was in the end. I expected something completely different when I started reading this series, but in the end, I really enjoyed it. The parts in the middle honestly got a bit too graphic for me, which dulled my enjoyment a bit, but the last part made up for it, since the satisfaction of the "good for her" feeling really overshadowed anything else. Overall, I am pretty happy I read the series, but I don't think I'll ever come back to it.

Mir fehlen die worte um diesem meisterwerk gerecht zu werden. Es ist der absolute hammer und einfach unglaublich wie eine autorin so eine story zum leben erwecken kann. Ea hat einfach alles was man sich von einem romance thriller erträumt. Ich werde die Charaktere sehr vermissen aber ich bin dankbar sie alle kennengelernt zu haben. Ruhe in Frieden CM Owens! I dont think i ever finished a book series this fast in my entire life. All these books are so easy to get through and all of them are catching and suspenseful in their own way. Way to many characters though, in my opinion, which made the ,,big reveal“ at the end a bit disappointing, I literally had to look up who that was lmao. Lana‘s backstory is so traumatic and absolutely horrible I dont think I ever read about a character that experienced so gruesome and horrible things like her. Massive Triggerwarning for Rape, Gore, SA, Biphobia/Homophobia, and more . I was absolutely devastated to her that the author of this series wasnt here to see how popular her series has gotten over the course of the last 1-2 years. Rest in Peace. Ps: Am I insane for rooting for a girl to brutally murder people? I say yes but all the other goodreads reviews say the same so I hope not … „You showed me what living was like again. I’d forgotten,” I say softly, hoping he hears me over the rapid firing squad in the background. “You’re the only reason I’m still breathing right now, Lana. Don’t give up. Not now. Not after all you’ve survived.“ „You’re a survivor too,” I whisper. “And you make the world a better place. Serial killer falling in love with FBI agent. I fucking love this series. First of all it’s so well written!!! Super funny and entertaining and still captivating and I’m so invested in this story, it’s unbelievable!! The author really nailed the contrast between good and bad. And i was rooting so hard for Logan and Lana. I was invested in the entire story and their relationship!!!! I can feel it - this series is going to be one of my new dark romance fav!! [note after second read: it fucking is] It is exactly what I hoped it would be - an entertaining, fast paced, sexy and well written series!! And I loved the choice to not execute the story in a coherent book but rather in a series with five short novellas. This is really something special and this way each milestone of the story gets dedicated their own book. It’s really amazing!!! And do I need to repeat again? Murder in love with the FBI agent investigating this case! The angst is real! But so is their tension! What will it be? Law or Lana? I fucking love Lana as a lead and a character. She is amazingly talented and smart. And she has some serious skills and I’ve said it often now - nothing compares to woman who have a skillset that overpowers men stronger than her and woman that know what they are capable of. She can throw knifes, combat and use a gun? Yes please!!! I’m straight but gay for Lana Myers and Lana Myers only. And she shows the facets of being the 'villain' of a story so good. And how she dealt with her past and now seeks revenge but still stays true to herself helping others who don’t have the same power as she has and is still able to love despite her tragic past. Really an awesome character. She is written so fucking good it’s unreliable. But everyone else too!! Logan is just a babe that I want for myself. Can I please have one? Being an FBI agent is hot enough but my dear he is the real deal in the end [we pretend that there is no such line in the books stating he is blond. You misread if you think he is.]. I loved his and his entire teams journey throughout this book. They where facing a really hard case where the line between victim and villain are overlapping and emerging into each other. But at no point where their actions unreasonable or changes occurred rushed. It was executed so damn well and their journey really felt realistic. And not only Logan owns my heart now but Hadley and Jake too! They where all such great characters and all of them together played a great role to making this series unique and awesome. If you are looking for a great dark romance where the villain is the hero in the story and lines between good and bad become unclear - this is your series. It never sugarcoats anything so be aware of heavily graphic described violence, torture and murder and other stuff, so look up trigger warnings if you have any triggers!! But that makes it even better. It gives an unfiltered great experience riding on the edges of good and bad - hero and villain. Monsters or in truth not so much. It is fast paced but not to much to feel rushed or like stuff is left out. It is entertaining and funny at many points, not only because if our lead Lana’s great humor. And it is hot and emotional challenging. Just everything you could want from a dark romance female serial killer falls in love with an FBI agent series. And it’s even better than what you are expecting now. Great series for anyone needing to stab someone. Read these five novellas instead. Tragically the author of this series passed away last year so let’s keep her memory alive though her stores and words so she and her talent won’t be forgotten!!! note after second read: screaming and crying on the floor. I love this series and I missed my loves Lana and Logan… so here I am again. And I will come back again many times. This series deserves so much more fame. 5

Ich bin noch immer absolut begeistert von der Mindf*ck-Reihe! Das war wirklich etwas besonderes, voller Spannung, Humor und Gefühle. Tolle Idee mit super Umsetzung und auch das Finale hat mich nicht enttäuscht.
i LOVED this story. the only thing that genuinely bothers me is that it’s a five part series and not just one huge book. Other than that, perfect. And uh on a side note. I need a Logan.

My heart aches for what Lana, her brother and father had to endure. This town and their people were really cruel, but i loved what she and Jake achieved with their vengeance. Lana is totally a badass and love her for that Would have never guessed that plot in the end! Totally thrilling and worth reading!

Omg ich hätte niemals gedacht, dass ich so eine Story brauche, aber jetzt fand ich sie so so so gut und genial. Ich hab die Reihe angefangen, weil ich gehört habe, dass sie spicy ist, aber sie ist so viel mehr. Im letzten Buch war mir der Spice noch nicht mal mehr wirklich wichtig sonder eher alles andere. Schreibstil: Der war echt gut, weil man auch total mit den Charakteren mitfühlen konnte und total in die Story eingetaucht ist. Oft genug hätte ich die Bücher direkt am Stück gelesen. DieCharaktere: Die sind einfach nur super, weil auch total auf ihrer Seite steht und sie versteht. Lana ist so komplex und dennoch liebe ich sie total. Story: Spannend von vorne bis hinten. Es gab immer etwas neues was man wissen wollte oder was einem geheim blieb. Und genug Action war definitiv auch dabei.

Großartiges Ende einer tollen Reihe
Ich kann nicht glauben das die Reihe nun zu Ende ist. Das letzte Buch hat mich komplett umgehauen.

Die komplette Reihe ist einfach nur grandios. Ich hatte mich sehr auf die Story gefreut, ein FBI Agent trifft auf die Serienkillerin die er sucht. Und sie verlieben sich ineinander. Lana Myers ist ein stark geschriebener Charakter. Man sollte nie mit einem Killer sympathisieren, aber bei ihr muss man das. Eine tragische Geschichte in der Vergangenheit hat sie zu dem gemacht was sie nun mal ist. Trotz allem ist sie ein tiefer Charakter mit Charm. Logan Bennett kam einem zunächst wie der typische Agent vor, der für seine Arbeit lebt. Gerne hätte ich noch etwas mehr über seine Vergangenheit erfahren, nichtsdestotrotz ist auch er ein liebenswerter und sympathischer Charakter. Am Ende gibt er für Lana wirklich alles auf. Das Ende war schön und unerwartet. Aber auch die ganze Story bis dahin lies sich gut lesen und hatte einen roten Faden. Grandiose Arbeit dieser Autorin, welche viel zu früh diese Welt verlassen hat. 🖤
Wow, dieser Band hat mich eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt durchleben lassen. 😭 Alle Bücher waren toll, aber dieser Band ist vor Spannung und Emotionen nicht zu übertreffen.
Diese Reihe lässt einen wirklich jegliche Moralvorstellungen hinterfragen 🤯 Ich war selten von einer Reihe so begeistert, verstört und gefesselt zugleich! Definitiv harte Kost, aber wer das abkann und auf der Suche nach einer wirklich anderen (Dark) Romance Story mit Thriller Elementen ist, der sollte diese Reihe lesen!

Ich bin noch total geflasht von allem, die Story rund um Lana und Logan gehört definitiv von jetzt an mit zu meinen absoluten Favoriten! Wie der Name schon sagt - der Mindfuck kommt hier alles andere als zu kurz. 🙈 Allerdings bin ich wirklich traurig darüber das die Autorin inzwischen nicht mehr am Leben ist. 🥺 Ich hätte gerne noch andere Bücher von ihr mit diesem oder einem ähnlichen Vibe gelesen. :(
Puh, was ein Abschluss der Reihe. Schrecklich was diese Stadt getan hat und wie es schon von Anfang an hieß: It will burn und scheiße das hat es. Ich bin froh, dass Logan relativ schnell die Wahrheit erkannt hat und Hadley trotzdem auf der Seite von Lana stand. Womit ich nicht gerechnet habe, war die Kombination aus Jake und Hadley - aber passt perfekt. Absolut geniales Ende.

I cried and laughed while reading this series, it became one of my favorite book series ever… I still can’t get over what Logan did, he should’ve apologized some more, but it is what it is, I guess I LOVED it and I think I’ll never get over it And the Ending was so perfect, Lana and Jake 100% deserved their happy ending

I love this book! ❤️ I don’t really know how I could be so happy about murder and how I could completely overthink my sense of morality, but this book made me! 🥴 I was so looking forward to this moment when Lana finally got her revenge for what those people did to her and took from her! I usually never mark things in my books but this time my version is so colourful 😂😂 This book completely shattered me into a thousand pieces. I still have this numb feeling when thinking of it. But yet I still feel for Lana Myers and would be very grateful to hand her a knife. 😈

Die Mindfuck Reihe ist nichts für schwache Nerven. Es geht um eine Serien-Killerin die Rache an ihren Peinigern nimmt, die sie und ihre Familie 10 Jahre zuvor zerstört haben. Man erfährt detailliert was passiert und wie sie ihre morde begeht, und die Geschichte fesselt einen von Anfang an, weil man wissen möchte, was geschehen ist. Außerdem ist die Romanze zwischen ihr und einem FBI Agenten genau so spannend wie die Hauptstory an sich
Großes Finale
Der letzte Teil war nicht ganz so stark wie die Vorgänger, aber ein guter Abschluss für die Reihe. Es ist für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu viel passiert bzw. es gab einen Müh zu viel Drama beim „Untergang“ von Delaney Grove.
This book broke my heart in pieces. Had tears in my eyes while Reading the last five or so chapters. This Series was everything I needed to Start the Reading Year. Highly recommend, but Please check the trigger warnings before diving into it. Please remember Reading is subjective.

Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie ich mich fühle…die Reihe ist einfach vorbei😫 Ich hab es wirklich geliebt vom ersten bis zum letzten Teil! Große, große Empfehlung!! (könnt jetzt einfach nur Sätze schreiben, in denen ich schwärme - weil es war einfach TOLL)🥹 V.a. dieser letzte Teil hat mich und meine Gefühle auseinandergenommen! Ich hab eben noch so geweint, weil ich so sad war und im nächsten Moment wieder so happy! Ich werde die Reihe und die Charaktere vermissen - Definitiv eins meiner Top Bücherreihen forever!

Serienm*rder und FBI Agent? Sign me up! Die Geschichte von Lana und Logan ist grandios erzählt. Die Bücher lassen einen jegliche Gefühle verspüren und selbst ich, musste ab und zu tief Luft holen, vorallem bei extrem expliziten Stellen. Mit Lana konnte man eine richtige Verbindung aufbauen und dieses Mädchen hat so viel Leid erfahren, dass man ihre Vorhaben nachvollziehen konnte. Die Beziehung zwischen Logan und Lana war chaotisch, verboten und unglaublich süß. Die beiden haben aneinander gebraucht und haben es auch spüren lassen. Die Bücher trotzen nur von Spannung und verlangen sie weiterzulesen!

Soooo gut!!! So viel Action und Mord und ahhhh. Lana und Jake sind solche Genies und das ist so unfassbar spannend. Ich glaube dieses Buch ist mein fav aus der Reihe. Auch wie alles aufgelöst wurde, war einfach perfekt inszeniert von der Autorin. All in All ne echt gute Reihe! Das als Netflix Serie wäre der Hammer.

Sie - die gebrochene Seele, die in ihrer Vergangenheit unaussprechliches erleben musste. Er - der FBI Agent, der in einem Fall ermittelt und einem Serienmörder nachjagt. Sie - die nur ein Ziel hat: Rache zu üben. Er - der geradewegs dabei ist, sich in sie zu verlieben, ohne zu wissen, dass sie die gesuchte Killerin ist. Die Mindf*ck Series war spannend von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite. Oft hab ich das Gefühl, dass es bei DR nur noch um Spice geht. Plot, where are you? Spice haben wir in diesem Buch auch, aber er steht NICHT im Vordergrund. Man fiebert einfach die ganze Zeit mit, wie er ihr immer mehr auf die Spur kommt, wie immer mehr aufgedeckt wird und was hinter ihren Absichten steckt. Dieses Buch ist eine ganz große Empfehlung an alle, die Dark Romance schon fast aufgegeben haben und auf der Suche nach einem spannenden Buch mit Suchtfaktor sind.

Was für ein geniales Ende. Rache haben die beiden definitiv bekommen. Ich hab es nicht sehen kommen wer der richtiger Mörder war. Ich hab’s geliebt, fantastische Reihe.

10/10. Kommt auf die Liste meiner Lieblingsbücher. Der beste Psychothriller, den ich je gelesen habe. Spice und Romance sind vorhanden, der Psychothriller und die Geschichte stehen jedoch im Vordergrund.👍
Richtig gute Reihe, Ende an sich schlüssig, nur vlt etwas zu unrealistisch. War trotzdem ein wilder Ritt durch diese Reihe und hab jedes Buch sehr enjoyed!

Ein besseres Ende hätte es nicht geben können. Auch die Wendung zum Schluss, als der ursprüngliche Mörder Preis gegeben wurde, habe ich absolut nicht vorhersehen können. Alles zusammen mit die Beste Reihe, die ich bisher gelesen habe.
Die ganze Reihe war eine 5/5 Star experience. Ich hab’s so geliebt !

I basically saw the ending to this series coming from the first book on, but that did not make it any less satisfying than it was in the end. I expected something completely different when I started reading this series, but in the end, I really enjoyed it. The parts in the middle honestly got a bit too graphic for me, which dulled my enjoyment a bit, but the last part made up for it, since the satisfaction of the "good for her" feeling really overshadowed anything else. Overall, I am pretty happy I read the series, but I don't think I'll ever come back to it.

Mir fehlen die worte um diesem meisterwerk gerecht zu werden. Es ist der absolute hammer und einfach unglaublich wie eine autorin so eine story zum leben erwecken kann. Ea hat einfach alles was man sich von einem romance thriller erträumt. Ich werde die Charaktere sehr vermissen aber ich bin dankbar sie alle kennengelernt zu haben. Ruhe in Frieden CM Owens! I dont think i ever finished a book series this fast in my entire life. All these books are so easy to get through and all of them are catching and suspenseful in their own way. Way to many characters though, in my opinion, which made the ,,big reveal“ at the end a bit disappointing, I literally had to look up who that was lmao. Lana‘s backstory is so traumatic and absolutely horrible I dont think I ever read about a character that experienced so gruesome and horrible things like her. Massive Triggerwarning for Rape, Gore, SA, Biphobia/Homophobia, and more . I was absolutely devastated to her that the author of this series wasnt here to see how popular her series has gotten over the course of the last 1-2 years. Rest in Peace. Ps: Am I insane for rooting for a girl to brutally murder people? I say yes but all the other goodreads reviews say the same so I hope not … „You showed me what living was like again. Serial killer falling in love with FBI agent. I fucking love this series. First of all it’s so well written!!! Super funny and entertaining and still captivating and I’m so invested in this story, it’s unbelievable!! The author really nailed the contrast between good and bad. And i was rooting so hard for Logan and Lana. I was invested in the entire story and their relationship!!!! I can feel it - this series is going to be one of my new dark romance fav!! [note after second read: it fucking is] It is exactly what I hoped it would be - an entertaining, fast paced, sexy and well written series!! And I loved the choice to not execute the story in a coherent book but rather in a series with five short novellas. This is really something special and this way each milestone of the story gets dedicated their own book. It’s really amazing!!! And do I need to repeat again? Murder in love with the FBI agent investigating this case! The angst is real! But so is their tension! What will it be? Law or Lana? I fucking love Lana as a lead and a character. She is amazingly talented and smart. And she has some serious skills and I’ve said it often now - nothing compares to woman who have a skillset that overpowers men stronger than her and woman that know what they are capable of. She can throw knifes, combat and use a gun? Yes please!!! I’m straight but gay for Lana Myers and Lana Myers only. And she shows the facets of being the 'villain' of a story so good. And how she dealt with her past and now seeks revenge but still stays true to herself helping others who don’t have the same power as she has and is still able to love despite her tragic past. Really an awesome character. She is written so fucking good it’s unreliable. But everyone else too!! Logan is just a babe that I want for myself. Can I please have one? Being an FBI agent is hot enough but my dear he is the real deal in the end [we pretend that there is no such line in the books stating he is blond. You misread if you think he is.]. I loved his and his entire teams journey throughout this book. They where facing a really hard case where the line between victim and villain are overlapping and emerging into each other. But at no point where their actions unreasonable or changes occurred rushed. It was executed so damn well and their journey really felt realistic. And not only Logan owns my heart now but Hadley and Jake too! They where all such great characters and all of them together played a great role to making this series unique and awesome. If you are looking for a great dark romance where the villain is the hero in the story and lines between good and bad become unclear - this is your series. It never sugarcoats anything so be aware of heavily graphic described violence, torture and murder and other stuff, so look up trigger warnings if you have any triggers!! But that makes it even better. It gives an unfiltered great experience riding on the edges of good and bad - hero and villain. Monsters or in truth not so much. It is fast paced but not to much to feel rushed or like stuff is left out. It is entertaining and funny at many points, not only because if our lead Lana’s great humor. And it is hot and emotional challenging. Just everything you could want from a dark romance female serial killer falls in love with an FBI agent series. And it’s even better than what you are expecting now. Great series for anyone needing to stab someone. Read these five novellas instead. Tragically the author of this series passed away last year so let’s keep her memory alive though her stores and words so she and her talent won’t be forgotten!!! note after second read: screaming and crying on the floor. I love this series and I missed my loves Lana and Logan… so here I am again. And I will come back again many times. This series deserves so much more fame. 5

Ich bin noch immer absolut begeistert von der Mindf*ck-Reihe! Das war wirklich etwas besonderes, voller Spannung, Humor und Gefühle. Tolle Idee mit super Umsetzung und auch das Finale hat mich nicht enttäuscht.
i LOVED this story. the only thing that genuinely bothers me is that it’s a five part series and not just one huge book. Other than that, perfect. And uh on a side note. I need a Logan.
