Holy shit. I don’t even know where to start with what happened in the last 10 Chapters. Started slow, finished like a fucking lightning strike over the sea. First 60% of the book felt like a walk in the park, and honestly I was a little disappointed - but goodness gracious did R.Y. do an 180. I went through all stages of grieve in this one, missed Liam like crazy, found Dain unexpectedly okay, got to liking Cat (shocker, I know), would like to trade my brother for Ridoc and developed a slight crush on Garrick (why, when, how, nobody knows).

I just love this series. Even though Onyx Storm once again can’t quite measure up to Fourth Wing for me, it’s still a really great installment that takes you through all the emotions while reading. The cliffhangers at the end break my heart every time, but they also make me even more excited to see how things continue—or, in the meantime, spin all kinds of possibilities in my head. All in all, I can highly recommend Onyx Storm. Just be prepared, as always, for a broken heart while reading!

3,5 ⭐️ I am so confused.

Well, that was…. disappointing.

Ich fand’s richtig gut, das beste Buch der Reihe. Aber ich hasse es, wenn Charaktere (so gut wie) umgebracht werden und anschließend zurückgebracht werden. Das macht die ganze Reihe weniger spannend.

4.5⭐️ wtf i have so many questions!? that last chapter was basically a whole riddle. what am i supposed to do with myself now that im done!? how am i supposed to wait years for book 4!? leaving the characters behind after reading a series and starting a new one is always the hardest thing

I swear to god, this series better end with a Xaden return, or i will hunt him down myself and drag him back by the ears (i have abandonment issues okay?) But i can feel he has some sort of plan, why would he tell Sgaeyl "she'll help" and "she promised" (pretty sure referencing Violet, who else?) when Sgaeyl pointed out the veins around his eyes? Even tho he told Violet not to look for him, he knows she will anyway because their love is greater than any hurdle there is to take! And Violet is far from done from looking for a cure to save Xaden! I do want to know why Miss Ma'am had 12h of her memory erased??? What crucial pieces of information are now withheld from us? This better be explained along the way in the next books
