Eine so so schöne Geschichte. Es steht zwar Rom-Com drauf und es gibt auch einige Stellen an denen ich so lachen musste, aber trotzdem geht das Buch sehr ins Herz. Wie schwer es für sie ist jemandem zu vertrauen und eine Beziehung einzugehen wird so gut rübergebracht. Man kann ihre Gedanken und Handlungen extrem gut nachvollziehen. Es gibt kein künstliches Drama, es ist einfach ein Buch für die Seele. Und Declan definitiv ein neuer Bookboyfriend. Kann es nur empfehlen! Englisch ist hier auch sehr leicht zu verstehen, man fliegt durch die Seiten.
um? wtf? this was utterly delightful! i don’t know what I expected, but it definitely was not completely falling for Sarah and Declan’s story and all their absolutely lovely friends and family. this has instantly become a feel good book that i’ll gladly return to. ⤷ will i reread? yes, no question about it
This right here is a perfect summer novel. I absolutely loved it, and I don't think there's anything negative I would need to point out. The author created a set of funny, charming and loveable characters. Especially the protagonists, Declan and Sarah, are so sweet; there's no chance you could not root for them. And it's because they are written as being genuine and human, which makes them relatable. This book really had me cracking up from the first pages, and I couldn't put it down until I turned the last one. It's nicely written, from the storyline to the little details and thoughts put into everything. Of course, you might be able to tell at some point where the plot is heading, but it didn't diminish the reading experience. I loved how some elements reappeared later on in the story, closing an arc. It made it an altogether enjoyable read.
